$13.05 Generally, it's a good idea to be wary of actors who make pop albums, but every rule has at least one exception, and She and Him's VOLUME ONE is an unfettered delight. A collaboration between actress Zooey Deschanel (ALMOST FAMOUS, ELF) and prolific indie-folk musician M. Ward, She and Him is not merely a case of a cult musician using a more famous name as an entrée into the musical mainstream: in fact, Deschanel is the primary songwriter here and sings all the lead vocals barring a pair of duets, and she scores impressively on both fronts.
Deschanel turns out to be a gifted pop songwriter with a knack for penning crisp 1960s-style pop songs like the ...

$17.05 About the CD:An ancient artifact of unfathomable power. An unseen enemy who knows how to wield it.A hero who can manifest his special ability three nights a month.A recipe for action and suspense or an open invention to a butt kicking? Find out in \"Beware the Moon Wraith: The Orb of Phoebe\", a ten part serial that pits the Moon Wraith, a vengeful ghost for justice, against cosmic forces contained within a sphere fashioned by the gods. Actually, a god. Okay, not a god but a titan, which is not quite a god but still pretty impressive. And the Moon Wraith is not really a ghost but a ....Tell you what, just buy the CD and find out for yourself.About Curious Echo Radio Theater:That Was Then...Once upon a time (in 2002 in fact), Louis Gutierrez and Sharon Moskowitz (two good friends with a mutual history of sketch comedy, improvisation, writerly experimentation, and dedicated geekdom) went to a big convention and saw – er, heard the brilliant Atlanta Radio Theatre Company at work. Whereupon, the glint of mad creation came into their eyes, and they turned to each other and said, \"Hey, we can do that.\"This made the audience rather unhappy, as they were all trying to listen to the show.Nevertheless, the two persevered, and found that they could not, in fact, \"do ...

Little Run Down Cabin album
$17.45 Of all the bands to emerge from the early `90s grunge explosion, Pearl Jam was both the longest-lived and most consistently interesting. After several albums that found the group taking an increasingly experimental direction, the Seattle quintet returned to its straight-ahead hard rock roots with 2006's self-titled effort. In 2009 however, Pearl Jam surprised fans again with an album containing some of the unit's catchiest, poppiest songs ever. According to lead vocalist Eddie Vedder, most of the new material was written prior to recording, which was a significant departure ...
