| | Dvorak, Luba & The Banned Under The Radar CD Dvorak, Luba & The Banned Discography of CDs
Mr. Dvorak has given us a live album...not in the traditional sense of recording a live performance in front of an audience, but an album recorded live at Pilot Studios in New York City in one day with no overdubs. The ten song album features songs from Mr. Dvorak\'s previous two albums that have been given \"The Banned\" treatment, as well as a previously unreleased song \"Looking for a Brand New Place to Start\". \"The Banned\" is Mr. Dvorak\'s New York band featuring Allan Rodger on guitar, Tony Tino (South Side Johnny/Gavin Degraw) on bass, Larry Oakes (Bad Co. /Foreigner) on piano and Mark Greenberg (Dickey Betts) on drums....\"This collection of songs was meant as a promo disc for Europe but the stuff turned out so good that I decided to let everyone hear it...The price is kept low so if you want to hear what I have been up to this is it. Someting brand new will be out in early 2009.\"- Luba Dvorak, Luba & The Banned Under The Radar Songs | 1. | Above It All |

Under The Radar album
$9.55 Susan Boyle's grand unveiling on Britain's Got Talent was with a song from Les Miserables - the very song that lends this album its title -- and if she could become an international sensation based on a show tune standard, there's no reason for her to change her approach on her debut, since that's the sound that made her a star. Plus, a large part of Boyle's appeal is that she's a middle-aged woman recalling a bygone era when there were singers that appealed to an adult audience by offering soft, stately versions of pop hits and standards. That time was the late `60s and early `70s, and apart from a rather faithful version of Madonna's "You'll ...
| | Jimmy Buffett Buffet Hotel CD (2009)
Under The Radar CD music
$9.74 Since Jimmy Buffett never leaves his comfort zone, it's hard to call 2009's Buffet Hotel a return to roots but, in a way, it is. Discounting the mock rap on "Turn Up the Heat and Chill the Rosé," this album doesn't even have the lingering country and reggae flavors that seasoned 2006's Take the Weather with You, ...

Under The Radar CD music
$11.49 Julio was born in Guasave, Mexico. Julio's father was a private pilot but also loved to play guitar and sing. Julio was about 18 months old when his father died in an airplane crash leaving in him the love for music.Julio always loved to sing. His aunt gave him a guitar when he was 7 years old, but he didn't learn how to play it until he was in Middle School in his hometown. At the age of 15 he moved to Guadalajara, where his father's relatives lived, to continue his education. Little did he know that Guadalajara would not only be a place for Julio's education but also where he would meet his Savior Jesus Christ. At the age of 20 he felt God's calling to the ministry at about the same time he met Carla, who 2 years later he married. Eight months after their wedding they went together to Word of Life Bible Institute in Argentina, where they not only had the opportunity of going deeper into the Word of God but they also experienced what a mission field was by spreading the Good News of salvation through multiple music concerts and evangelistic campaigns in many cities of Argentina, Paraguay and Uruguay. Julio discovered God had given him not only the talent of singing but also the gift of evangelism. During the 3 years they spent in Argentina, Julio and his wife were part of evangelistic efforts that brought literally thousands of souls to the feet of Jesus. At the end of 2002 God brought this couple to the USA 'We thought we were just coming for 3 months' Julio always says. Of course, God had more than just 3 months prepared for Julio and his family in America. Julio was ordained as a minister to the Gospel in 2003 in a church where he served 2 years as a youth pastor. Around the same time, he was invited to serve as a staff member at Second Mile Mission Center, where God used him to spread the Gospel to thousands of families. Pretty soon he was promoted to be the Director of the evangelistic team of the mission. Julio's comment about serving at the mission is 'I can't remember a day at the mission that I didn't see a person praying to receive Jesus ...
| | Stratosphere 68 Lunch With Lazarus CD (2008)
Under The Radar music CDs
$13.15 The Stratosphere 68 story:This band blends our love of Rock and Roll with our African American experiences and musical roots, to create a blend of psychedelic-funk-metal, which reflects our party and protest mindset. The Bay Area in the 1980's afforded a cornucopia of musical styles to sample from, from the hippie festivals, to the still thriving punk and metal scene, to the world class jazz clubs, to the One Love Reggae vibe, and the up and coming conscious hip hop that ruled the later part of the decade. As black teens in the liberated territories of the East Bay, we soaked up all we get our hands on and let the music guide us socially and politically. Our first album, 'Lunch With Lazarus', reflects these influences, along with international flavors such as Samba, Ska, and Afro Beat. It is a sound that has been described as Jazz Metal, International Rock, Swamp Boogie, among other things. Our music is a reflection of us, and our passion for music and social change. The George W. Bush era is the backdrop in which these songs were conceived and written. Above all we sought a musical voice to express our outrage against the 'war without end policies' that have ...
