The debut album by Uzbekistan's Sevara Nazarkhan was originally released in 2003 and reissued in 2008. A singer who also plays the doutar, a lute-like stringed instrument indigenous to her Central Asian country, Nazarkhan is rooted in the music of her homeland. However, the expansive YOL BOLSIN, produced by French avant-rock mainstay Hector Zazou, is no mere world music travelogue; these 11 tracks seamlessly integrate subtle electronic touches. Highlights include the title track and "Yor-Yor (Song to the Bride)."

He was born in Istanbul in 1961. He started to study piano at the Istanbul Municipal Conservatory in 1967, and continued his musical education at the Istanbul State Conservatory between 1972 and 1979. During these years, he also played the violin and vialo at the conservatory. He started to play jazz in late 70’s and left his classical education at the conservatory after 12 years to pursue his love of jazz music. He has performed at the various clubs in Istanbul both with Turkish and foreign musicians in his early years as a jazz pianist. Recognized as a talented composer and pianist, Kerem Görsev has produced many different projects starting with his first album, “Hands and Lips” in 1995, followed by his second album, “I Love May”, in 1996, both comprising his own compositions.
