Standard Screen; Soundtrack English; Blue Ray HD-DVD Nine o'clock on Monday morning, August 18, 1969: while the work force was starting the day, Jimi Hendrix was taking the stage at Woodstock. While hundreds of thousands had already left, 25,000 people remained to see this incredible performance. Hendrix, along with drummer Mitch Mitchell and bassist Billy Cox, offered masterly renditions of the songs of the recently disbanded Experience ("Hey Joe," "Foxey Lady"), and gave a preview of the blues-based Band of Gypsys ("Izabella," "Hear My Train A Comin'"), as well as Jimi's era-defining rendition of "The Star Spangled Banner." Though the weekend had witnessed some landmark performances by other great artists, this performance from Hendrix is regarded by many as the defining moment in a festival ripe with defining moments. Jimi Hendrix - Live At Woodstock Reviews: 3 stars out of 5 -- "Playing on the morning after the festival officially ended, Hendrix delivered a fascinating yet ragged set..."
-- Peter Relic, Rolling Stone 4 stars out of 5 -- "[T]he first few bars of the huge, five-minute guitar solo that follows an incendiary 'Purple Haze' are surely among Hendrix's most fearsome."

Jimi Hendrix - Live At Woodstock Video Jimi Hendrix - Live At Woodstock Movie Review Average Rating: (3 out of 5 stars) Jimi is great 5 stars, Video is terrible 1 star Jimi Hendrix at Woodstock - everything he played on that historic day is a must see/hear, but I have this on DVD and I honestly think the DVD looks better than the Blu Ray. Hendrix at the hippy Mecca This year's edition isn't the first one.
The previous DVD showing Hendrix at Woodstock was released in 1999. So what the fuss is all about? Here you are: the then edition lasted only 55 minutes, this one lasts almost 2 hours. The then edition had a grainy picture, this one is as sharp as a razor. The then edition had a stereo sound, this one has 5.1 audio mix by high'n'mighty Eddie K. The then edition presented only
half of Jimi's songs performed by him at Woodstock. This one shows all of them
in their original sequence. The then edition was shot from a different camera
angle, this one - from yet another angle. Last but not least, this edition
costs elsewhere twice as much as HERE -
at CD UNIVERSE.

an unreal performance It wasn't until I heard this that i fully began to understand the unbelieveable talent that Jimi had. Woodstock is probably the most intense display of guitar playing I've ever heard. The highlight of the album is without a doubt the "Woodstock Improvisation", where jimi goes off on his own starting with blaring speed and distortion and then ending with a clean, beautiful sounding tone. this is my favorite hendrix performance and it truly made me a believer in the fact the he was bar none the best guitar player to ever live. Jimi Hendrix - Live At Woodstock DVD
$96.15 Progressive/orchestral hard rock act Caamora was born of a musical partnership between Agnieszka Swita and Clive Nolan. Initially writing and touring as a duo, the inevitable next step to full band recording paved the way for the completion of this sprawling, two-disc rock opera. The material comprising SHE lends itself to dramatic stage production, which is sure to be realized in a live setting by the group.
An outstanding release! 'She' - a unique event on the world-wide scale!!!! This fantastic release is a must have for all fans of the best quality progressive/rock music! Caamora represents the partnership of Clive Nolan (Pendragon, Arena) and Agnieszka Swita in a lavish and creative collaboration. The musical version of 'She' is based on the ...

| | Zack And Miri Make A Porno Blu-ray (2008) Widescreen
Jimi Hendrix - Live At Woodstock DVD
$22.55 As its explicit title suggests, Kevin Smith's ZACK AND MIRI MAKE A PORNO is a foul-mouthed and filthy film that probably isn't fit for the very young, the very old, or the easily offended. But for those who enjoy Smith's brand of humor, this raunchy but romantic comedy could be the perfect date movie (though perhaps not for a first date). With mountains of past-due bills piling up, Zack (Seth Rogen, KNOCKED UP) and his roommate/childhood friend Miri (Elizabeth Banks, SCRUBS) aren't sure how they're going to stay in their Pittsburgh apartment. But a chance encounter at their 10-year reunion gives them the idea to make a porn movie. When it comes time for the friends to do the deed, they realize that perhaps they're more than just friends.

| | Paul Blart: Mall Cop Blu-ray (2009) Widescreen; Dubbed; Subtitled
Jimi Hendrix - Live At Woodstock movie DVD
$33.65 IN THEATRES JANUARY 16, 2009: Coming off the finale of television's popular sitcom THE KING OF QUEENS and 2007's I NOW PRONOUNCE YOU CHUCK AND LARRY, funnyman Kevin James takes the role of a single dad in this largely physical comedy, which the actor also co-wrote. Paul Blart (James) is a hard worker, but has never landed his dream job of being New Jersey state trooper due to his excess weight. Determined to support his mother and his daughter, Blart takes the slightly less glamorous post as the security guard at his local shopping mall. He never complains, approaching the job with impressive diligence and pride, but doesn't get much respect for it. It's only when a group of misfits in Santa's Helper disguises take hold of the mall and several hostages that Blart's would-be cop smarts come in handy and he gets a chance to shine. With a deadly situation on hand, Blart may finally be able to show the world (and his romantic interest, who just happens to be one of the hostages) what he's made of. Though the villains have several advantages ...
