After renovating their expensive loft in the TriBeCa section of Manhattan, Molly (Demi Moore) and Sam (Patrick Swayze), a young successful yuppie couple, are walking home one evening when Sam is tragically gunned down by a street mugger. Molly goes into a deep depression, but, unknown to her, Sam has come back as a ghost in order to protect her from danger--although he isn't yet aware who or what means her harm, and he has a lot of learning to do in order to make himself known to her. He teams up with an unwilling psychic, Oda Mae Brown (Whoopi Goldberg), and together they try to convince a very skeptical Molly that Sam was actually murdered and has returned spectrally to complete some unfinished business. Moore and Swayze and are excellent as the couple, and Goldberg won an Oscar for her portrayal of the wild and wacky psychic. GHOST is considered by many to be one of the most romantic films of the 1990s. Theatrical release: July 13, 1990.

Film was shown at the Deauville Film Festival in France, September 1990, and at the Valladolid Film Festival in Spain, October 1990.

Ghost Movie Review Fast Delivery, VHS Quality First, loved the delivery time and email notification. It took just 2 days regular mail. The DVD I purchased has a VHS view, just a tiny bit grainy. The DVD view is not as crisp as I'm used to seeing, but for the price it's pretty good. I'll definetly order more DVDs from CD Universe in the future.

Breathtakingly beautiful movie A touching story beautifually represented by two amazing actors, Swayze and Moore. The music is incredible and perfectly describes each emotion and scene, and the camera work enhanches the movie's sense of eerieness and romantic tragedy. A masterpiece movie no one should deny themselves of experiencing simply because its "mushy love stuff". Submitted by Nukem999 (Orland Park, IL, USA) Was This Review Helpful? Not a Scary Movie This is not a scary movie but a kind of romantic adventure involving the ghost of the deceased husband( Swayze ). The storyline is predictable and the screen writer tried to make the movie interesting by infusing some humor, mostly surrounding the psychic( Goldberg ). Reasonable performances from the cast but Goldberg stole the limelight. Submitted by a reviewer (Phoenix, AZ) Was This Review Helpful? Yes No This review is for a different format.

$9.69 Patrick Swayze stars in this modern-day Western as a tough guy who has poetic instincts and drives a Mercedes. Fresh from earning his doctorate in Eastern Philosophy from New York University, mettlesome loner Dalton (Swayze) finds work as a bouncer at an anarchic road house. Within weeks, Dalton has rid the bar of the ruffians ruining its business and has even struck up a romance with a sexy doctor (Kelly Lynch). Then Dalton bounces the wrong man, who turns out to be one of town crime boss Brad Wesley's henchmen. Wesley first tries to buy Dalton off, but fails. When Wesley learns of Dalton's new lover -- who used to be Wesley's significant other -- Wesley vows bloody vengeance. But Dalton, with his unique mixture of brute force and Zen oneness, isn't about to let his college money go to waste.
Patrick Swayze stars as Dalton, the best bar bouncer in the business, but he's anything but typical. He's a little small for his trade, has a degree in philosophy and espouses "being nice." When he's hired to clean up the Double Deuce, he's pushed to his breaking point. The film also stars Kelly Lynch, Sam Elliott and Ben Gazzara. This Deluxe Edition is chock full of special features including audio commentary with director Rowdy Herrington, "What Would Dalton Do?" featurette, a making-of documentary and a sneak peak at Road House 2.

| | Scrubs - The Complete Seventh Season DVDs (2007) Full Frame
Ghost DVD
$23.45 In 2001, SCRUBS turned the "doctor drama" formula on its ear, moving stolid patients and practitioners out of their standard, soap opera seriousness and into the wily world of single-camera comedy. The scrappy sitcom about an eager intern, J.D. (Zach Braff), offered a unique blend of broad humor and surprising heart that quickly made it a critical darling and a cult favorite. Seven seasons later, the quirky cast has grown up: J.D. is now an M.D., but he's still flanked by neurotic would-be love interest Elliot (Sarah Chalke), his best friend Turk (Donald Faison), no-nonsense nurse Carla (Judy Reyes), and difficult Dr. Cox (John C. McGinley). Luckily, with age doesn't necessarily come wisdom, and the 2007-2008 season offers more of the series' trademark slapstick and goofball verbal sparring as J.D. ponders a future of fatherhood, questions his ability to commit to his girlfriend, and continues his ongoing war with his nemesis, "Janitor" (Neil Flynn). This complete season seven set includes a bonus behind-the-scenes glimpse into the Braff-directed "fairytale" episode, "My Princess."
The NBC series about the doctors and nurses of Sacred Heart Hospital stars Zach Braff and Sarah Chalke. Bonuses: featurettes, deleted scenes, alternate lines and bloopers, commentaries, Easter egg.

Ghost film
$10.29 Julia Roberts and Hugh Grant forge memorable chemistry in this charmer about two very different people--William, an unassuming bookstore owner in London's Notting Hill section, and Anna, a Hollywood actress--who, against the odds, fall in love. After Anna wanders into William's shop while filming on location in London, the two share an instant attraction and find themselves attempting to forge a normal relationship despite Anna's megawatt star power. Screenwriter Richard Curtis (FOUR WEDDINGS AND A FUNERAL) has crafted a traditional romantic comedy that is surprisingly frank in its depiction of the lives of the rich and famous and the price they pay for success.
