The PastSince 2000 this label has became ahousehold name on the underground rap circuit. What began a a dream for CEO D-Dirt E would soon become reality when he began college at UALR where he met Po Yo,Ste-Feezy, Los, and C-Luv. Dola Mike the first and final group member of We AR Starz was an original member before there was a Tho'd Studio. The realization of the potential talent they possesed came about from freestyleFridays at the campus' recording studio. Also,positive response from peers promted the start of Tho'd Studio. Their first release was a 7 song demo called "Tyme 2 Shyne".They came up with the name for the group "We AR Starz" because each member of thegroup represented a different part of the state all connected in Little Rock. "Tyme 2 Shyne" introduced the business aspect of the music industry and was basically a learning lesson even though it was pushed and promoted like a major release on a local level. The most important result of the release was the buzz it had created.The Present Tho'd Studio did not stop with the "Tyme 2 Shyne" release. They knewthey had to stay fresh and build onto the buzz they had established. To add to their momentum they made underground mixtapes and cd'sfeaturing none other than themselves promoting upcoming releases suchas "Tho'd in da Studio". Ideas like this was inspired by the late great DJ Screw. The plan was to bleed into the several neighboring states such as Louisiana, Texas, Tennesse, Missouri, Oklahoma, and Mississippiwith the sale of these underground releases and create a buzz there as well. These states then would allow leakage into their surroundingstates. With timely promotional efforts in these key areas, Tho'd Studio'sdebut release "Tho'd in da Studio" is sure to be a success built from the underground up. So far the plan seems to be working.
