Trick 'R Treat Movie Review Average Rating: (4.3 out of 5 stars) One Of The Best Horror Movies Of The Year Trick R Treat is without a doubt one of the best horror films ever made! 4 really scary stories that are intertwined together. It has everything vampires, werewolves, serial killers, zombie kids, and Sam the demonic pumpkin headed trick or treater who is the main character throughout the film. If you are looking for a truly classic horror film to watch for Halloween this is it! Submitted by Nightwolf (Whittier, North Carolina) Was This Review Helpful? Yes No 1 of 1 found this helpful.
EXCELLENT HALLOWEEN MOVIE PROBABLY THE BEST HALLOWEEN MOVIE I HAVE SEEN IN 20 YEARS. LOVED THE WAY THEY KIND OF "PULP FICTIONED" THE STORY OR I SHOULD SAY THE PARTS OF THE STORY . GREAT SCARY STORY WITH JUST AS MANY TWISTS AND TURNS AS YOU COULD ASK FOR. I WAS REALLY SUPRISED BY THIS MOVIE AT HOW GOOD IT REALLY WAS AND I THINK YOU WILL TOO. ENJOY. campy but fun for adults - too scary for kids. Funny and scary, but very gory. Submitted by sniffy1234 (Tulsa, OK, USA) Was This Review Helpful? Yes No 0 of 1 found this helpful.
smart, entertaining anthology picture i heard so much about this movie on the internet and heard how excellent a movie this was and why was it not in theaters. upon viewing the movie today i see why it has received such praise and can say it was well deserved. it is a smart, entertaining and well thought out movie. i kept smiling as the four plots unfolded and kept me entertained from beginning to end. Should have been better Was a little disappointed in this one.
Good title , a good multi-story idea , but it was just "flat" . I guess id have to say it was a "horror / comedy" that didn't scare me or even make me laugh . Some special FX in it , but nothing new or memorable .
I bought the blu-ray disc , and wish now I had rented the standard DVD disc so I would have known NOT to buy it ! Submitted by kg5400 (Seattle Wash. USA) Was This Review Helpful? Yes No 0 of 1 found this helpful. This review is for a different format.

$9.69 The grisly and debauched film PATHOLOGY is a juiced-up medical thriller that plays like FLATLINERS with a mean streak and a broken moral compass. Writers Mark Nelvedine and Brian Taylor have created a premise allowing for CSI-like forensics along with heaps of sex and violence, truly making the most of the film's R-rating. A high-end exploitation film with good performances, PATHOLOGY is strong enough for horror fans and should go down smoothly for non-squeamish viewers with a taste for the dark side.
Gifted med student Ted Grey (Milo Ventimiglia, HEROES) arrives at a major Washington, D.C., as an intern, where he is met with suspicion and resentment by the tightly knit group of fellow young pathologists-in-training. Soon, though, Ted is accepted into their circle---where they each take turns committing a murder so that the others may prove their mettle by figuring out the cause of death and celebrate with drug-fueled orgies among the dead bodies in the hospital. Things change for Ted, though, when his law student fiancée, Gwen (Alyssa Milano), moves to the city and helps to scare him straight. Soon, crazed Wallace Stevens-quoting leader ...

$13.55 Marcel Langenegger makes his feature-film directorial debut with the aptly titled DECEPTION, a film about secrets and lies. Jonathan McQuarry (Ewan McGregor) feels that life is passing him by. He completes short-term audits for a large firm, but doesn't really feel any connection to his employer and finds it difficult to make friends at his assignments since he's never there for long. Jonathan's circumstances change overnight when charming lawyer Wyatt Bose (Hugh Jackman) befriends him. In an instant, the shy accountant is playing doubles tennis with his new friend and beautiful women and visiting upscale clubs. Just as mild-mannered Jonathan is getting used to his new lifestyle, Wyatt leaves town on business. When Jonathan finds himself mistakenly in possession of Wyatt's cell phone, he also discovers a whole new world of anonymous ...

$23.39 After nearly two decades of successful detours into mature thrillers (THE GIFT, A SIMPLE PLAN) and superhero blockbusters (the Spider-Man series), director Sam Raimi returns--full tilt--to his scrappy horror roots with DRAG ME TO HELL. Alison Lohman stars as Christine Brown, a soft-spoken Southern girl with a good heart, a PhD-toting boyfriend (Justin Long), and a job as a loan officer at a bank just outside of Los Angeles. When evicting a vile and negligent old woman named Mrs. Ganush (Lorna Raver) seems to be the only way to secure an important promotion, Christine pushes her moral flexibility about as far as it can go (not very far at all) only to dearly pay the price as the recipient of a rather nasty curse. The next three days of Christine’s life amount to an unimaginable endurance test in which she is subject to physical and psychological torture while a terrifying demon draws ever closer to take her to hell, where she would burn for eternity.
Raimi manages to keep the feverish awfulness ...

$23.39 After THE HILLS HAVE EYES was remade in 2006, another Wes Craven '70s shocker arrives on screen with this film. Mari (Sara Paxton) looks forward to a relaxing vacation at a lake house, the escaped convicts she meets have a different sort of evening in mind. The men brutally attack her, and she barely survives, but she tries to make it back home to her parents (Tony Goldwyn and Monica Potter). However, the prisoners accidentally arrive at her parents' home, and soon they're the ones who should be frightened.
Based on Wes Craven's landmark 1972 exploitation flick of the same name, LAST HOUSE ON THE LEFT is a brutal movie that exposes the darkest recesses of human depravity. The simple plot follows four criminals on the lam who encounter a pair of ...

$14.39 Though THE READER may boast the typical pedigree of a Holocaust film--acclaimed actors, a literary source, and an Oscar-baiting end-of-the-year release date--this drama has a significant difference: it focuses on a perpetrator, rather than the victims. Kate Winslet takes on the hefty supporting role of Hanna Schmitz, a woman who has an affair with Michael Berg (German actor David Kross), a 15-year-old boy in 1950s Germany. They spend their brief romance alternately making love and focusing on literature, with Michael ...
