A smart practice companion for belly dance.
Bellydance Rhythms Workout video You get two 40 minute flow workouts completely made up of belly dance moves. Bellydance Rhythms Workout film One beginner and One Intermediate, both workouts are formatted by 4 or 5 combinations to 5 of the popular drum rhytms used in belly dance. Each combination is practiced repeatedly with more dynamics and stylization added as the workout progresses. Then all the combinations are practiced in a row. First by reviewing each combo by rhythm, then all the combos to their respective rhythm. It makes for a lot of fun, and it's very much like dancing a real choreographed drum solo. There is a tutorial section where Neon breaks down all the combinations in order, and in great detal, but not painstaking like absolute beginner dvds where they go into the mechanics of each movement. She simply demonstrates the movements she's chosen and how to transition to the next, with tips and pointers for good technique and performance. There is also a tutorial section with Raquy on the drum for the breakdown of the drum rhythms used in the workouts.
