Best movie of 2010
Being a huge fan of the original I was pleasently surprise with just how GREAT this movie is, in my opinion it surpasses the original, Matt Reeves got rid of the clutter and extra characters from the original and instead focusing on the close relationship between Owen and Abby, two lonely, tortured, missunderstood souls looking for love, understanding and help from each others demons and adding a police officer character, brilliantly played by Elias Koteas, was a great addition, the acting is head and shoulders above the original and the score is haunting and touching, it became my favourite of all time.P.S. Chloe Moretz should have been nominated for an academy award.
