King Kong Movie Review  Great HD movie
The picture quality of the King Kong HD DVD is breathtaking. The movie itself is also very good. When I want to impress someone with my HD Plasma this is the DVD I pull out. A must have if you have a HD TV.

The last Remake!
Jackson has set the bar so high, it would be pointless and there will be no need to ever make another remake. Every classic seen we are familiar with (the native village, the dinosaur fight, climbing the ESB, etc.), have been redone in such a superior and over the top way, that there is no room for improvement.
A little more leg and cleavage from the heroine would have been nice!

This is the weakest version of King Kong I've seen. Loved Fay Wray and Jessica Lange versions, but I could hardly remember Naomi Watts in the lead afterwards. Oscar winner Adrien Brody was no where as close to being the reluctant hero as Jeff Bridges was. The special effects actually got in the way of my enjoyment, with too many unbelievable scenes to enjoy the movie. I was very disappointed in this movie.

Based on the graphic novel by Frank Miller and Lynn Varley, 300 takes over the screen like an invading horde. With all the gushing blood of a horror movie and the scope of a classic epic, the second film from Zack Snyder (who helmed the 2004 remake of DAWN OF THE DEAD) is an impressive visual spectacle.
