Shy and handsome Chad (Kellan Lutz, Twilight, New Moon) wants to attempt to capture ghosts on video and heads to infamously haunted Goldfield, Nev., accompanied by friends: Couples Julie & Mike (Marnette Patterson, Charmed, Pope Dreams/Richie Chance, Horror 88) and Dean & Kerri (Scott Whyte, City Guys/Mandy Amano, Crank: High Voltage). The trip takes a suddenly unfortunate turn when their car mysteriously dies, cell phones fail and Julie begins having horrific visions near an old graveyard. Things go from bad to tragic when local tavern owner Jackson (Roddy Piper, They Live) brings them to the town’s museum-like hotel, then imprisons them. To understand their situation, Julie recounts the tale of hotel owner George Winfield (Chuck Zito, HBO’s Oz), who, betrayed by his beautiful wife Elizabeth (Ashly Rae, The Portal) when she bore another man’s child, killed her in room 109. Elizabeth’s spirit possesses Kerri and begins a murderous spree of revenge, killing the videographers one by one. Julie, tied to the tragedy by a close relative, may hold the very key to ending the curse forever, but can she do so before she becomes the next ghost of Goldfield?
