In Romania he worked as a music teacher, and for a few years he was a conductor and researcher at the Institute for Ethnology and Folklore in Bucharest. He was also a member of the Society of Romanian Composers. His compositions comprise symphonic music (symphonies, cantatas, suites, concerto for viola), chamber music (string quartets, sonata for clarinet and piano, contemporary music for several ensembles, music pieces for panflute), choir pieces and filmscores. His compositions are often influenced by Romanian folklore and Byzantine liturgies. He is also the author of several musicological and folkloristic studies and articles. In September 1982 he preferred the Netherlands to his native Romania, and now he works as a panflute teacher and as the leader of an orchestra at The Free Academy in Delft (the music-school department) and at The Music-School in Krimpen a/d IJssel. Meanwhile he has become a member of the Dutch Composers Association and the president of the Dutch Panflute Foundation. In the last years Costel Puscoiu has become one of Europe’s leading panflute teachers. He has developed and published a complete pedagogy of panflute study: basic methods, several music books with arrangements (classical, folksongs, carols, etc.) and his own compositions. His aim was and is to build a new and original way to teach, to set a modern pedagogical base to the panflute. Costel / Puscoiu Autumn Songs Songs | 1. | Sunny Dream |

| | Sean Moyses My Banjoand Other Friends. CD (2009) (Import)
Autumn Songs album
$21.45 My banjo career has taken me to wonderful places, created life-long friendships and presented musical moments that were just boyhood dreams when I started out with our Moyses Family Band in the Fens of Norfolk over 30 years ago. Without encouragement from my Mother Jacqui and my late Father Derek I probably would not have had so many opportunities to hear acoustic music. My Dad loved Jazz - my Mum loved Folk, so as a family we listened to many local musicians of various musical styles. My sister Hayley is a great guitarist, violinist and singer. It is a pleasure to have her “finger-picking” guitar style accompanying me on this recording. Scotsman Fraser Gartshore is a excellent jazz pianist, who also plays church and cinema organs. Through him I was introduced to Björn Klaus, a young man who plays double bass with great taste. Swinging drummer lady Steffi Fust first joined me for concerts whilst I lived in Denmark during 2001. Achim Hamacher is one of the few people who can make the mighty bass saxophone swing. His style fits so well to 1920’s jazz - as does Matthias Seuffert, a world-class musician I have known since moving to Germany in 1996. Also joining us are Lutz Eikelmann, Uwe Rössler and Andy Leggett, whose unique musical contributions are most welcome. My Pietsch MasterVox was hand built by my good friend Norbert Pietsch. His beautiful banjos are truly inspirational to play. Thank you dear friends.Sean Moyses, February 2009. Die CD "MY BANJO...AND OTHER FRIENDS" ist ein Sean Moyses Album besonderer Art.
