| | Joe Sierra Eternity CD Joe Sierra Discography of CDs
Joe Sierra has been busily producing, composing, and recording over 50 original musical CDs since 2003. His love for music spans many forms of music and genre. While his recent output has concentrated more in the electronic techno and trance arenas, his other musical productions can be found in the area of jazz, new age, blues, guitar rock, and various other ethnic forms of music all with an electronic flavor. While most of his music have been instrumental, he's also been producing music with vocal lyrics. The Eternity CD features not a human singer but a synthesized singer from a Computer Software. The virtuosity of the software defies the listener to tell the difference between a human singer and this synthesized voice. While only recently producing original song tracks in the past five years since 2003, Joe Sierra also gigged as a DJ in England in the mid 1980s. His love for music has brought him back to the club dance scene as a producer of original music. $13.49 This late 1968 release seemed innocent enough at the time; and actually, it was a sincere effort to use a then newly-practical interpretive instrument, the Moog synthesizer, in a decidedly traditional musical manner. Indeed, at the time, it was simply extending -- in a somewhat more forward-thinking direction -- the kind of attention that had been devoted to Johann Sebastian Bach's music as early as 1782, barely over 30 years after the composer's death, when Mozart wrote a set of string trio arrangements of some of Bach's keyboard works. Heard 40 years on, the approach here seems very tame and formal, but in 1968 it offended some Baroque purists (of whom there were relatively few) and a lot of classical music Luddites (of whom there were a lot more); but it still became the first classical music LP ever to be certified for a Platinum Record Award, by selling to hundreds of thousands of mostly younger listeners who ...

$16.45 Not since the Lurpack advert has trombone sounded so sexy, sax/flute stolen from Mark Ronson, the original drummer from Groove Armada and the first ever female member of Black Dyke Mills Band on vibes......If your iPod contains Madness, Dolly Parton, Arctic Monkeys and Joni Mitchell, this band is for you....no pigeons were holed in the making of this bandEvery year one band stands out as being the best, most fun, most cheerfuly delightful act and not always the ones one expects. For me it was Becks and her merry men this year, and for many others too, young and old.....Chapel Allerton Festival organisersInstrumentationBECKS - Vocals and guitarANDY HILLIER - tromboneATHOLL RANSOME - Sax/FluteJENNY HOY - Vibes and quirky percussionPHIL HEPWORTH - oo ar guitarJEZ ASHBY - Double bassJOE HERZBERG - DrumsBECKS - Vocals and GuitarAt 15 was strumming along to Joni Mitchell in her bedroom when her mother (who is also a professional singer)offered Becks her first professional singing job on a tour around Ireland. This led to appearances singing bvs on RTE television's The Late Late Show and playing Jenny in the musical Aspects of Love alongside one of Britain's favourite TV judges John Barrowman (I'd do anything/Torchwood). After studying at Leeds College of Music and etering the real world Becks realised that to make a living as a singer you had to be able to sing anything in a ny style and teach anyone else how they could do the same. This involved work such as sessions (from house DJs in their bedrooms to live orchestra recordings) Aladin in pantomime, jazz festivals, cabaret, teaching, duo with guitarist Jon Gomm and solo piano/gtr gigs. Her ambition is to sing the voice of a character in a simpsons episodeJOE – Drums On his first day in London Joe got a call from Andy Cato asking if he'd like to join his band Groove ‘em Harder. Shit name, he thought, but what the hey, it might help make some contacts. The first gig was at Shepherd’s Bush Empire for MTV. Maybe he was wrong about the name. After a party hosted by Elton John where Joe elbowed Duff Paddy in the ribs and walked in on Little Kim in the toilet the band made more money and decided they wanted a drummer who was more expensive. Joe went on to the hard graft of a cruise ship, working up to 2 hours a day sometimes. Back home now Joe has joined Becks and the Bullets just before their meteoric rise to fame. JENNY - PercussionBy the time Jenny left school she had worked with Evelyn Glennie and Colin Currie and played in some of Britain’s best concert halls. While studying at Leeds College of Music she signed to the Black Dyke Mills brass band as their first female percussionist. During her time with the band they worked with ...
