Creedence Clearwater Revival album for sale Product Description
Creedence Clearwater Revival album for sale by Creedence Clearwater Revival was released Jan 20, 2009 on the Madacy Distribution label. The consummate singles band in the late '60s and early '70s, Creedence Clearwater Revival managed to turn out radio hit after radio hit in their prime without sacrificing the integrity of the music, due in no small part to John Fogerty's brilliant songwriting, which conjured a mythic American South full of street-corner bands, bayou runners, and wounded travelers all delivered with a ragged, garage band appeal. ...See Full Description

| great first album by CCR I have all 7 SACD albums installment on this APO label. Great albums and great sounds too. This first CCR album is mostly blues based songs. Buy "Cosmo's Factory" and "Willy & the Poor Boys" and "CCR 1st LP" SACDs. They're great. Avoid "Green River" and "Bayou Country" on this APO label new SACD series, which I think sounded not as great (muffled). By glen (north texas, usa) This review is for a different format. |
| Creedence's Best This first album, to me, is the best over-all of the CCR albums, though I enjoy the others. CCR's music is not necessarily my type of modern music, neverthless I enjoy their music very much. I believe, there is something original and unique about this CD that is not fully duplicated in the follow-ups. There is a mystery factor that gets me every time in my favorite songs: "Walk on the Water", "Gloomy", "Suzie Q" and "I put a Spell on You". The sound quality is excellent. The bonus tracks are interesting by not necessary. By Hammondsummers (Tampa, Fl.) This review is for a different format. |
| Great¡ ¨one of thier best albums ever, I personally prefer Cosmos Factory, but this one still good. By escarga85 (San Jose, Costa Rica) This review is for a different format. |
| Another Creedence classic! This album has a number of my all time favourite songs; Susie Q is a unique blend of rock, blues and psychedelic sounds - and it's not the radio edit either which means you can really indulge in Fogarty's masterful guitar solos. "The working man" is a classic example of Creedence's unique blues/rock sound while "Get down woman" is just another classic blues number that again showcases Fogarty's guitar prowess. Other highlights include "I put a spell on you" and "Ninety-Nine and a Half". Creedence are perhaps one of the most under-rated bands in the world - give this album, Cosmo's Factory" and "Bayou country" a listen, you'll then see why they should be regarded with greater esteem by both the general public and the music community.
