Standard Screen; Soundtrack English; Amaray Case; Special Edition The third installment in the "Batman" series. Here the Caped Crusader must once again contend with two strange-looking, personality-impaired villains. First, there's maniacal ex-DA Harvey Two-Face, so named because half his countenance has been horribly disfigured by acid. Then there's the wise-cracking, hyperactive Riddler, whose alter-ego Edward Nygma is a nerdy, highly disgruntled ex-employee of Bruce Wayne. Together, these two masterminds plan to conquer the world with a device that not only mesmerizes users with 3-D television images, but also transports the viewer's thoughts into the Riddler's mind.
Batman also has to contend with two other new people in his life. One is lovely psychiatrist Chase Meridian, who has fallen in love with Batman AND Bruce Wayne. Then there's Dick Grayson, a young, orphaned acrobat who desperately wants to become Batman's crime-fighting sidekick in order to get revenge on the man responsible for his parents' death: Harvey Two-Face. Gotham City is once again under siege, this time by the mind-controlling Riddler and the diabolical Harvey Two-Face. The Caped Crusader cleans up with the help of his new side-kick Robin in this effects-laden thrill ride. "Batman Forever" opened in the USA June 16, 1995. The film grossed a total of $184 million domestically.
Jim Carrey replaced Robin Williams in the role of The Riddler.
Color by Technicolor.

Not that hot Batman Forever barely manages to please.Good special effects and a likable performance of the Riddler played by Jim Carrey can't cover up the film's flaws. The action is sort of dull and most of the cast can't live up to expectations. a new look After seeing batman returns in '92 I was looking forward to seeing which way they would go with the next film. I was shocked that keaton left but pleased that kilmer was going to fill his shoes. And after hearing that robin "played by cris o'donnell " was going to be in the mix the summer of 1995 was not getting here fast enough. I was also hyped that jim carrey was going to be the riddler and two face was going to be done by tommy lee jones. After I saw the movie trailers I pretty much knew that i was going to like this batman maybe even better. when i finally saw the movie i liked the way they got you into it from the beginning. It flowed better than the first two and it was on target. "or so i thought until 2005's batman begins". joel shumachers take was excellent i thought. myself i liked the neon colors and built in comedy but the movie was serious too. A movie should take you away and have fun joel did this and not every batman fan was pleased but i was. At the time batman forever was one of my favorite superhero movies and still is in a way. So if you like batman anyway and can be open minded and except every incarnation of the winged one you'll go with this new look and say to yourself it's only a movie and eat another handful of popcorn. Batman Forever review
$7.89 Tim Burton's BATMAN, inspired by Frank Miller's graphic novel THE DARK KNIGHT RETURNS, is a Gothic, Wagnerian treatment of the Batman mythos that explains the origins of Batman (Michael Keaton) and his nemesis, the maniacal Joker (a ripe Jack Nicholson).
Gotham City is a sunless, ominous haven for criminals, held in the corrupt grip of crime boss Carl Grissom (the ever-magnetic Jack Palance), and terrorized by a sadistic vandal and murderer known as The Joker. But it isn't long before a dark, mysterious caped crusader, who goes by the name of BATMAN, is on their trail and trying to thwart their evil doings. In this darkly entertaining retelling of the Marvel comic classic, ace photojournalist Vicki Vale (warmly and sympathetically ...

$11.19 Despite his origins as a low-budget filmmaker with a taste for the unsavory side of life, Peter Jackson has turned into an "event" filmmaker--someone who can conjure up a movie on a scale unlike anything we've seen before. KING KONG is his sprawling, epic remake of Merian C. Cooper and Ernest B. Schoedsack's 1933 movie of the same name, and it is as big as the gorilla that runs riot through Jackson's rendering of Depression-era New York. Keeping the simple yet effective plot intact--a film crew travels to the mysterious Skull Island, picks up Kong, and brings him back to New York City--Jackson expands on this basic premise by drawing on the jaw-dropping talents of his special effects team to satisfy his thirst for the grand spectacle.
The movie posits Naomi Watts as Ann Darrow, the starry-eyed blonde beauty whom Kong falls for; Jack Black as Carl Denham, a low-rent Orson Welles look-alike who drags the crew to the island to make his movie; and Adrian Brody as Jack Driscoll, a hack playwright who battles Kong both physically and for Darrow's heart. As the men struggle against Kong and the ...
