| The last great one by GP and the Rumour
OK, so it was the LAST album GP recorded with the Rumour, but it is STILL great. With catchy hooks, driving beats, and knife-sharp lyrics, Parker takes no prisoners. Perhaps lost in the shuffle, somehow, I'm here to tell all this is a terrific New Wave/contemporary R&B/Rock record. Skip the domestic release CD in favor of this remastered import. You'll thank me, especially when you crank up "Love Without Greed." You're welcome.

| This is a new wave classic CD.
Probably his most aggressive, a harder rocking album with the Rumour band at its peak, great guitar riffs and clever intricate lyrics. The mood is angry and desperate, kind of like early Elvis Costello, and just as musically rich. At the time, this was considered a great album, now it's gotten forgotten which is too bad, and overshadowed by the better songwriting in Squeezing Out Sparks. Still, if you like rocking New Wave, early Elvis Costello, or Parker, this is a must have for your more aggressive rocking moods.
