Very Good
After 15 years apart even with the departure of Jason Gobel they are still able to make a great album. Still the same great musicianship from "Focus".

Return of the Breed Beyond
Im so glad these bands are all putting out new cds. I love Cynic, their Focus cd was so groundbreaking at the time.

Best album of 2008
Phenominal album to put it lightly! It's been 15 long years since Cynic amazed the metal world with thier ground breaking album Focus & now with Traced In Air have once again crafted an amazing collection of progressive metal that really takes the listener to another place that Cynic does so well.

Amazing!
If Yes (that's right, the 60's-70's prog-rock band) were around and at the forefront of the music scene as ther were back in the day and they decided to either 'go' metal or 'try' metal, "Traced in Air" is quite possibly what they could sound like.
