Additional Footage; Soundtrack English; English Subtitles; Behind The Scenes Martial arts superstar Jet Li reteams with French writer-director Luc Besson (KISS OF THE DRAGON) in this psychological action film shot in Glasgow, Scotland. Li stars as Danny, a human attack dog for a powerful mobster he calls Uncle Bart (Bob Hoskins, looking resplendent in white suit after white suit). When Bart and his men go out on their collection runs, they bring Danny, who has been trained since he was a child to fight to kill. When Bart takes Danny's collar off and commands, "Get 'im," Danny goes to work, an unstoppable machine, using the only weapon he knows: his body. But when a turf war ends up in bloody carnage, Danny escapes and is taken in by a kind family consisting of blind piano tuner Sam (Morgan Freeman) and his teenage stepdaughter, Victoria (Kerry Condon). They teach Danny how to be a real person, to be able to act civilly in society. They also allow Danny to explore his love of the piano, where a specific tune haunts him, bringing up repressed memories from his long-ago past. Just when Danny thinks he has escaped from his former life, he is pulled back in, but he is no longer the trained dog Bart thinks he is. Written by Besson and directed by Louis Letterier (THE TRANSPORTER), UNLEASHED is a gripping, heart-wrenching film fueled by the music of Massive Attack and a relentless visual style. And having taken acting lessons for the first time in his career, Li more than holds his own in the presence of such masters as Hoskins and Freeman. Theatrical Release: May 13, 2005 Unleashed Reviews: "Li is action poetry in motion."
-- Bill Travers, Rolling Stone "The infinitely silly, unconscionably entertaining action film UNLEASHED earns most of its juice from the martial-arts star Jet Li, the eminent martial-arts choreographer Yuen Wo Ping and the fine British actor Bob Hoskins in full terrifying lather."-- Manohla Dargis, New York Times "[H]eartfelt, heart-stopping....Bounding out of the gate like a greyhound, UNLEASHED needs only its first 30 seconds or so to elevate itself well above the average action potboiler."
-- Gregory Kirschling, Entertainment Weekly "The staging and editing of several fights are tops even by the standards of Yuen Wo-Ping..."-- Mike Clark, USA Today Unleashed | List Price | $12.98 (You save $2.69) | | Studio | Universal Studios Home Video | | Orig Year | 2005 | | CD Universe Part number | 7859954 | | Discs | 1 | | Release Date | Mar 24, 2009 | | Rating | R (MPAA) | | Rating Reason | strong violent content, language, and some sexuality/nudity | | Also Known As | Danny the Dog | | Running Time | 102 Minutes | | Additional Info | Universal Studios Home Video | | Movie Details | Color; Universal Studios Home Video; Includes THE FAST AND FURIOUS Drafting - Movie Money |

Jet Li Rules!!! I never saw this movie in the theaters and once I bought the movie and watched it I was blown away. There are no words to describe how good this movie is. Everything in this movie is top notch. I mean the fight scenes were awesome and the acting was believeable and good. Jet Li probably gave his best performance in this movie. On the other hand Morgan Freeman gave another good performance to, to add to his career. Also the girl who played Morgan Freeman's stepdaughter also gave a great performance too. This movie is great and it's a shame a lot more people don't know about this movie. They'll never experience how great and touching this movie is. By the way this movie isn't juts all action. It's also very emotional too. I mean the chemistry between Li and Freeman is incredible. Plus I love the last scene of the movie. So go out and see this movie. It's defenitaly a must buy to add to your dvd collection. Submitted by AJAY204182 (East Hanover, NJ, USA) Was This Review Helpful? Yes No This review is for a different format.
JET LI THE LEGEND This is one of the best Jet Li films. Although the story is simple, the fighting scenes, (especially this between the two walls) are extremely good. This movie is for the fans of Jet Li and the fans of martial arts in general. Submitted by gaperis (ATHENS, GREECE) Was This Review Helpful? Yes No This review is for a different format.
Awesome fighting scenes Although the storyline could use a quick fix every here and there, the fighting in this movie is awesome! By far Jet Li's best work. Overall it is a good movie, not great, but good enough to keep you entertained. Submitted by Herbert (North Hollywood, CA) Was This Review Helpful? Yes No This review is for a different format.

$25.89 Though HARRY POTTER AND THE PRISONER OF AZKABAN director Alfonso Cuaron still holds the crown for best film in the series, David Yates is making an attempt at a coup with HARRY POTTER AND THE HALF-BLOOD PRINCE. Dark, gleefully funny, and beautifully shot, this adaptation of J.K. Rowling’s novel should please fans despite numerous changes to the 650-page source material. In this sixth film in the series, Harry’s (Daniel Radcliffe) inevitable confrontation with the dark wizard Voldemort grows closer, and Hogwarts headmaster Dumbledore (Michael Gambon) wants the young student to be prepared. He guides Harry through a memory of a young Voldemort, but an important moment is missing. Harry must extract this memory from the new Hogwarts teacher, Horace Slughorn (a perfectly slimy Jim Broadbent), who is as eager for fame as he is reluctant to revisit this painful moment. Meanwhile, romance rules the school of witches and wizards, with Hermione (Emma Watson) and Ron (Rupert Grint) refusing to admit their feelings for each other. Harry also harbors a secret love of his own: Ron’s younger sister, Ginny (Bonnie Wright). But despite his crush, Harry keeps an eye on Snape (Alan Rickman) and Draco Malfoy (Tom Felton), who may be responsible for attacks on the school.

$27.37 Johnny Depp and Christian Bale emerge from two of the biggest blockbuster series of all time (Pirates of the Caribbean and Batman, respectively) to star in this crime drama from HEAT director Michael Mann. Depp stars as charismatic 1930s gangster John Dillinger, whose notorious bank robberies have turned him into a celebrity during the Depression era. The rise in crime has J. Edgar Hoover (Billy Crudup) desperate to have his newly created FBI take down gangsters such as Dillinger, "Pretty Boy" Floyd (Channing Tatum), and "Baby Face" Nelson (Stephen Graham). Enter Agent Melvin Purvis (Bale), an ambitious crimefighter sent to Chicago to capture Dillinger and his gang. The criminal has evaded the law before, but he is drawn to the Second City by the beautiful Billie Frechette (Marion Cotillard).
Though PUBLIC ENEMIES boasts big names, it feels more like an arthouse offering than a typical gangster picture. With its intimately shot violence and 1930s setting, the film is more BONNIE AND CLYDE than GOODFELLAS. Mann and director of photography Dante Spinotti alternate ...

$23.39 Daniel Craig returns as 007 in this electrifying follow-up to the critically acclaimed CASINO ROYALE. The film opens with two gripping, back-to-back chases, as James Bond (Daniel Craig) tries to heed the orders of M (Judi Dench) and, at the same time, track down the people who blackmailed his love, Vesper. Bond is still struggling with Vesper's death, displaying a new, ferocious violence in his work, and a recklessness that M would very much like to get under control. When Bond discovers a massive, secret organization called Quantum, he believes it might have been a part of the scheme that killed Vesper. He follows the clues to Haiti, where he meets Camille (Olga Kurylenko), a mysterious, driven woman, whose motives seem unclear. Camille leads Bond to Dominic Greene (Mathieu Almalric), a cold-blooded businessman who appears to be working within Quantum. Greene wants control of a valuable piece of land in Latin America, and is part of a massive plan to overthrow the government. Bond knifes, shoots, and kick-boxes his way to the center of the sinister scheme, and discovers that the plot reaches even higher than he imagined, forcing him to abandon M's orders and step out on his own.
Director Marc Forster (STRANGER THAN FICTION) has crafted some truly memorable fight scenes, setting them in the most elegant of locales. Everything is beautifully shot, from ...
