Singer-guitarplayer Pieter-Jan De Smet (PJDS) and guitarist Geoffrey Burton release the album 'Antidote' in october 1993. A collection of songs that refer vaguely to John Hiatt, Elvis Costello , Iggy Pop ! The album is produced by Belgian bluesphenomenon Roland and released by Play That Beat!/Virgin.

Singles 'Baby's In The World' and 'Fire' become true radio hits in Belgium on national rockstations Studio Brussel and Radio 21.

Backed by a solid rhythm section, Serge Bakker on bass and Piet Jorens (a.o. dEUS,, Vive la FĂŞte!) on drums , PJDS and Geoffrey Burton tour intensively.

As a duo they also play festivals in Canada (Festival d'Ete International de Quebec), France (Printemps de Bourges), and Switzerland (Paleo Festival Nyon).

In January 1997 the new album 'August' is released and the title song becomes another fine radio hit.

The album is recorded in an old chapel, engineered and co-produced by Mike Butcher (Marvin Gaye, Black Sabbath, Arno ! )The album gathers some rave reviews in Belgian and Dutch magazines. Pieter-Jan De Smet and Geoffrey Burton start touring full time as a duo.

PJDS also starts doing solo gigs, tours as support act with Arno through Switzerland, opens for acts such as Maria McKee, Willy Deville, Chris Whitley, ...

Jody Cook grew up in Southern California and was always surrounded by music. Singing in school choirs (her first choir teacher was a Dapper Dan at Disneyland!) led to an audition and acceptance in an exclusive group on her high school campus that competed throughout the region and eventually toured Europe. She learned to sing Jazz and found that to be her particular interest. Moving to Northern California in the 80's allowed her to spend time being mom to her three children. They are each musical and again, she was surrounded by the love of music. She joined an a cappella group where she sang alto, tenor, second tenor and a line or two of second soprano. Recording an a cappella CD was her first recording experience. She then became involved in community theater and was able to join the cast of an original production in Martinez, CA and appears on the original cast recording for "John Muir's Mountain Days." She's been invited to sing backup for other local artists and appears on their CDs as well. Jody resides in Northern California with her husband of 20 years and continues to be blessed by her children's creative endeavors and the local opportunities to share this great medium that can touch the soul. She thanks Rich & Marti for this debut solo opportunity and her family and friends for their enthusiasm and support. Rich Martin adds this piano/vocal duo to his CDBaby collection of six all original piano CDs.
