In this DVD/CD set, Ciara returns to the scene with her high energy third album featuring production by Justin Timberlake, Rodney Jerkins, Tricky, Polow Da Don, and Danja. The album features appearances by by Missy, The Dream, Young Jeezy, Ludacris, Chris Brown, and T-Pain. The DVD features bonus content.
Ciara's albums can always be relied upon to include a clutch of first-rate floor fillers. GOODIES boasted the skittering rhythms of "One, Two Step" and the elegantly uncluttered title track while 2006s CIARA: THE EVOLUTION impressed with "Promise" and "Like A Boy," a pair of down-tempo numbers that overshadowed brash would-be centerpieces like the Lil' Jon-produced "That's Right." Though FANTASY RIDE hardly represents a stylistic left turn for Ciara, the album's standout moments, like the Justin Timberlake-produced "Love Sex, and Magic" and Polow da Don's "Never Ever," list towards icy, `80s-derived electro-funk that borrows from the keyboard-saturated sheen of contemporary Atlanta hip-hop and the subtle pop futurism of more indie-oriented dance acts like Justice and MGMT.

..sorry im a die hard ciara fan and it seems as though she's slowly letting the real ciara GO -- the first album was great second good this one not so good. seems as though she's tryna follow in other ppls footsteps.

This album wasn't what i expected it to be. She's trying way to hard on love sex magic and it's like she rushed to put this album out. i'm a fan of ciara but thank god you are working on a new album this was pure trash.

 The Best Ciara Album in Her Catalog
What I don't understand is how people can say this album is not. This is the best release i have heard in the R&B / Hip-Hop in a while. I play this album all the time. It is a very well produced album and Ciara has come into her own on this one. I LOVE IT. OWN IT ALREADY and Judge it for yourself dont go by what other's are writing.

Horrible, at best
The album is complete trash. Ciara's first two albums(Goodies and The Evolution)are a lot better than Fantasy Ride, because they have songs with catchy beats that you can dance to. Fantasy Ride has a lot of boring songs that hurt your ears and brain to listen to. For eg.High Price, Like a Surgeon,Pucker Up, and G is for Girl. The only good songs on the album are
"Never Ever", "Love, Sex, Magic",
"Lover's Thing" and "Keep Dancing on Me." The other 9 songs suck, and 2 of the songs I mentioned have to grow on you, before you can like them.

On April 3, 2007 Kyron and David Molina performed at Melting Point gallery in San Francisco, California. Together, they improvised a live film score for Susana Aragon's short film "Personal Luggage". Using electronic software and acoustic improvisation, Kyron and Molina pieced the minimalist score together moment by moment, creating an ideal compliment to the film. Mirrors were placed in front of the two performers so that they could see the images as they were projected onto the screen behind them and respond musically to what they saw.David Molina played a variety of instruments including: autoharp, cello, harmonica, and electric guitar as well as some unique instruments of his own creation.Kyron processed the sounds as David played them, expanding, contracting, morphing, looping and re-mixing them, combining them with electronic drones and beats, creating a complex thick instrumental web.During the following year, Kyron took the raw recordings of that night and produced multiple re-mixes, variations and tangential explorations.Melting Point is an audio artifact from that night of audiovisual experimentation and a collection of the musical explorations that developed from it.
