Original compositions for solo guitar combining elements of Flamenco, Classical and Minimalist styles, including three innovative works for a four string classical guitar. BODEGA DUNES is an exciting collection of compositions for solo guitar inspired by the natural beauty of a small town on California's north coast. Borrowing techniques used in Flamenco, finger-style acoustic guitar as well as "classical music", the artist has created a musical diary and portrait of his experience of the aural and visual landscape of the dunes and the sea that is not only meditative but also rich in harmonic color, lyrical melodies and rhythmic complexity. Like the ocean itself, at times passionate and agitated, other times calm and reflective, infinite in its subtle variations and full of intimate details. A marvelous expression of "place" over time. Frank has worked as an accompanist since the early 1980's starting with the Flamenco's de la Bodega in San Francisco's North Beach as well as in Sevilla Spain with the Dance company of Andres Marin. He has also worked on some "Flamenco Fusion" projects including the guitar duo Arabesque as well as his own ensemble with flute, violin, bass and percussion called HARVEST. Most recently he has performed with the soprano Vismaya Lhi doing music from the Medieval period, Brazilian composers, Garcia Lorca, as well as new compositions by Dusan Bogdanovic. Frank has also composed music for small ensembles including a Fandango for Saxophone quartet and electronic music built from his own sound samples. Although having composed music for guitar for over thirty years this is his first solo release. Carolyn Fe was to a family of entrepreneurs, whose enterprising spirit has clearly influenced her. In her pre-teen days, most of her after-school hours involved piano, dance and singing lessons. At a time before cultural diversity was 'de rigueur', being the only Asian family in a predominantly white, Francophone neighborhood, Carolyn learned to negotiate from the sidelines at an early age and it has been her strength ever since. She was a professional contemporary dancer until her mid-twenties, and when it was time to leave that, Carolyn entered the corporate realm where she is an accredited professional with her own consulting firm. She is also a professional actor and director and has her own theatre company, Altera Vitae Productions. In 2004, Carolyn co-founded the band DD Swank and fronted for them under the pseudonym Mama B. Jeff Trenholm is an independent musical artist from NJ. He has been described musically as "mixing acoustic and electric instruments into a beautiful union of ethereal sonic delights." He is also an accomplished drummer as well as a signed endorser of PINTECH USA Electronic Percussion products. His single "Enough to Fall" was released August of 2002 and shows a turn toward a more experimental phase in his music, yet retaining the trademark emotional edge to his approach and lyrical content. Heading more toward acoustic- based writing, yet adding effects, heavy at times, to add depth and texture to the recordings. Atmospheric, ambient synth and percussion sounds reverberate throughout, adding even more layers to envelope the listener in. This new single also follows "The Singles 2001" released in late March 2001, which marked a turn toward the release of singles rather than full-length albums, creating an open field allowing for more song-to-song diversity. Released early July 2000, the dark, introspective "Garden of Black" contains what he considers his best and most emotional album work. His 1999 solo effort "Lost July" (..JST0899-3) was released in August of 1999 and contained one of his most popular songs to date, "Breeze."His first solo effort, "The Intimate Room" (..JST196-1) was released July of 1996 and contains some of his most enduring songs, such as "Tonight I Can Dream" and " The Blue Sky."
