Church's 'Music that Makes You Feel Good' lyrical style is clearly represented in the production of "Miracle. ' In Church's produced songs along with his unique musical abilities, this new approach to making people feel good through affirming music is sure to touch the hearts of millions."Miracle's" all original songs including the first released single, "Miracle" shows the virtuosity and soothing range as a vocalist as he debuts his first album."I learned early on in life from listening to my friends, family, and fans, that music has a way of touching people differently, and people overall want to listen to music that makes them 'feel good' and experience the depth of the lyrical and musical qualities of a song. My fans are being taken to a new place in their lives where they can feel passion or personal healing to help fill an empty void and bring comfort back into their hearts. The music I sing sounds like passion is coming from my soul and my voice. That is always the most important thing to me. My goal on "Miracle" was to create 'feel good' music and find the best people to help me create it," commented Church. With a remarkable group of producers including songwriter and producer Mike Guerriero, the album contains songs that speak to every individual who yearns for feeling passion through music. An early burst, "Miracle" with Church recording in New York City in early 2009 came to the 43-year-old Colorado native this was the groundbreaking moment he was living out his true dream of sharing his love for music with the world. 'I wanted to sing a song that melodically and lyrically represented the miraculous situations I had experienced in life, and understand what I felt in that moment in the vast Universe. I walked up to the microphone and the song just came out naturally and was recorded in less than an hour in the most magical way."Church knew very early on that music was his true passion. He had a talent for playing the piano by ear and singing with the radio almost since birth. His family recognized and encouraged the further development of his talent and supported his decision to get formal training as he went off to University of Colorado at Boulder to get his degree in Music. After graduating, he went to New York City to pursue his dream of performing on Broadway. After a slight detour into the business world where Gregg was a successful marketing executive and business leader, he has found his way back to pursuing his lifelong dream and following his passion in music and has premiered with his first single 'Miracle'. With Gregg's voice and passion for music this album speaks to your soul. Gregg Church Miracle Songs | 1. | Miracle |

Miracle album
$14.45 After the dark and chilling themes of 2006's BLACK CADILLAC, which saw Rosanne Cash dealing with the deaths of her mother, Vivian Liberto, her father, Johnny Cash, and her stepmother, June Carter Cash -- all of whom passed within a two-year span -- one might assume that her next project would move into an even deeper level of bleakness, but with THE LIST, it's immediately clear that she has instead found a more measured place to stand. It's a lovely and redemptive outing that looks back to go forward. When Cash turned 18, her father, alarmed that his daughter only knew the songs that were getting played on the radio, gave her a list of what he considered 100 essential American songs; Cash kept that list, and now she's drawn on it for this wonderfully nuanced outing that brims with a kind of redemptive timelessness. ...

| | Them Crooked Vultures CD (2009) (Import)
Miracle music CDs
$13.05 Often, supergroups wind up dominated by one particular personality - think Eric Clapton in Derek & the Dominos, Jack White in the Raconteurs -- which makes the egalitarianism of Them Crooked Vultures all the more remarkable. Of course, when it comes down to it, it's a group of three natural-born collaborators: John Paul Jones, the old studio pro who gravitated toward provocative partners after Led Zeppelin's demise, teaming up with R.E.M. as easily as he did with avant-queen Diamanda Galas and nu-folkster Sara Watkins; Dave Grohl, who hopped into an empty drummer's chair whenever the opportunity presented itself; and Josh Homme, who set up a mini-empire based entirely on jam sessions. If Them Crooked Vultures brings to mind Homme's projects more than Grohl's or Jones', it's largely due to his role as lead vocalist and how guitar can push a rhythm section as powerful as this to the side, dominating with its grinding riffs and solos. Homme's predilection for precision does reign supreme -- when the ...

$40.75 | | Muse Resistance CD (2009)
Miracle songs
$15.65 With its titanic guitar solos, symphonic suites, and multi-layered melodies, Muse's fifth album operates under the assumption that bigger is better. This is the very definition of a super-sized album, an album that takes its cues from Queen, its lyrics from science fiction novels, and its delivery from rock opera. It's also the first time that Muse has truly sounded like Muse, as few bands since Queen have so readily explored the intersection of bombast and extravagance. THE RESISTANCE is most certainly extravagant -- there are snatches of classical piano entwined throughout, not to mention bilingual lyrics, concert hall percussion, coronet solos, and song titles like "Exogenesis: Symphony, Pt. 2 (Cross-Pollination)" -- but it's also quite beautiful, capable of moving between prog rock choruses and excerpts from Chopin's "Nocturne in E Flat Major" within the same song. Presiding over the mix is frontman Matthew ...
| | Mike Bloomfield Super Session CD (1968) Bonus Tracks; Remastered
Miracle album
$6.75 A surprise best-seller when it was first released, this mostly improvised pairing of singer/keyboardist/producer Al Kooper with two major guitar heroes of the day sounds fascinating all these years later precisely because of the distance of time--nobody makes records like this any more. The material runs the gamut from folk pop (covers of Donovan and Dylan), to blues ("Albert's Shuffle," "You Don't Love Me"), to heady jams ("His Holy Modal Majesty"), to big-band jazz ("Harvey's Tune").
All the tunes make effective templates for the kind off-the-cuff music-making that in less capable hands might have resulted in simple noodling. In fact, although Bloomfield and Stills don't play together on any of the cuts (Bloomfield played on one side of the original LP, Stills on the other), all three principals get off lots of good licks and producer Kooper has some interesting tricks up his sleeve, as in the over-the-top phasing he lavishes on "You Don't Love Me." The only real disappointment here is that Stills, a far better singer than Kooper, never opens his mouth.
Those familiar with the Live Adventures album these two recorded at the Fillmore ...
