And jumbled and eclectic as they may be, there is undoubtedly an inner strand to the ccalam's narrative!. one part the work of a meandering colourful wordsmith and another part a synth driven musical melange."Dukester:"like a lone troubadour who's then been remixed by NIN or Depeche Mode, ...
| | Ripspacer III CD (2009)
Kabaret & Best Of Live CD music
$13.15 RIPSPACER III is a modern rock & roll album in the truest sense of the genre that the albums songs subscribe to. Paul Wayne's self styled vocals project a powerful and unique vision of a tale entangled with the birth of a new millennia's first decade. It's the myth of decay shrouded ...

| | Undertones Hypnotised CD (1980) Bonus Tracks
Kabaret & Best Of Live songs
$13.15 Despite initial appearances--a blurry sleeve shot of two band members enjoying a seafood supper--1980's HYPNOTISED marked the Undertones' commercial apogee. It announced itself with an opening salvo called "More Songs About Chocolate And Girls," both a cheeky nod to Talking Heads' own second album and a mission statement of sorts. To the relief of fans, the band's concerns hadn't changed since their debut LP and accompanying flurry of spunky, guitar-driven pop 45s.
If the comedic teen angst anthem "My Perfect Cousin" marked a logical edge towards center in the pop arena that welcomed them, then its follow-up "Wednesday Week" was a more intricate effort. The album's "Girls That Don't Talk" and "Tearproof" further displayed the Undertones' emergent '60s bubblegum and garage influences beside the closer to home punked-up glitter pop stomp of "Hard Luck." It may have lacked the concise, blistering perfection of "Teenage Kicks," and John O'Neill's songwriting hadn't yet developed into the complex ...
| | Pat y Chaco Satyagraha CD (2009) (Import)
Kabaret & Best Of Live album
$16.69 Through the last 7 years vocal/guitar duo Pat Y Chaco has fascinated audiences everywhere they've been from Colombian top academic contest to Yale University in New Haven to Ricardo Gabrielli´s film Cuando Rompen Las Olas. Their sound is a dynamic ensemble of vocals and guitar defining a new music genre by combining jazz, Colombian roots, world and popular music. On 2009 Pat y Chaco released their self produced album Satyagraha through the independent label ChacoWorldMusic. It includes Special guests' collaborations from top Colombian musicians such as Antonio Arnedo, Gabriel Rondon and Martina Camargo. This studio album has performed extremely well in the Colombian independent market with excellent reviews and radio play on national radio stations. Their first single from Pat y Chaco´s album Satygraha debuted at number 7 on the top 10 of colombia´s national radio chart and performed even better week after week. On july 21 "El tintero" hit the first spot!!!REVIEWSThe unique style developed by Pat y Chaco is spectacular!!! Their sound is rich, fresh and smooth and their lyrics are dreamy and surrealistic. Paty´s voice is sometimes sweet and sometimes aggressive while Chaco´s guitar shows a unique style with very contrasting influences from Colombian native drums to Jimi Hendrix to Joe Pass. Gabriel Rondon(Guitarrist and arranger- One of the Jazz pioneers in Colombia with a five decades career) An amazing performance by a beautiful voice that knows and feels every single word she sings, joined by an instrument that creates moods, improvises and mixes extraordinary guitar techniques. Manuel Bernal Martinez(Musical Investigator and University professor)The musical journey through Pat Y Chaco album Satyagraha sets different moods, styles, musical genres and distant cultures. Collaborations from Colombian top musicians such as jazz pioneers Antonio Arnedo and Gabriel Rondon and traditional Tambora singer Martina Camargo get Pat y Chaco sound even more interesting.
