| Classic Jazz Flute
A great album. I was a little disappointed - the recording capacity of CD is so much greater than the old black vinyl discs, that, for instance, when I repurchased Jim Hall's classic 'Concierto' album, several additional tracks were included on the modern CD version. I think this should be done more often - and the Mann 'Memphis Underground', although great, is not the world's longest album....

| Classic Herbie Mann Jazz Rock
Herbie's bouncing flute penetrates your senses while the band lays down a thick blanket cushion. Pure Jazz Rock with plenty of improvisation and instrumental solos.

| WOW!
This is one of the best albums I have ever heard. The band he uses for this album lays down a thick Memphis soul groove while Herbie Mann plays the flute like no one before or since. This album is essential listening for anyone that enjoys psychadelic rock or fusion jazz or both.
