Import Blu-Ray/Region A pressing. Business becomes personal for Vin Diesel in A Man Apart. Diesel is compelling as Sean Vetter, a DEA agent out for revenge after his wife is murdered in a botched hit attempt. Vetter and partner Hicks track the elusive new druglord, El Diablo, with the help of the jailed kingpin! When maverick DEA agents Sean Vetter (Vin Diesel) and Demetrius Hicks (Larenz Tate) team-up to bust notorious drug overlord "Memo" Lucero (Geno Silva), they soon find themselves in grave danger. When an attempted retaliatory strike by Lucero's gang results in the murder of Vetter's wife, Vetter violently confronts Lucero in his jail cell. Vetter hears the crime boss proclaim his innocence, and realizes that he and his DEA cohorts must go after the mysterious Diablo, who now appears to be running all drug-related business on the California-Mexico border. As the investigation into Diablo begins, Vetter's mind becomes clouded by revenge fantasies for his dead wife, and he is soon relinquished of his duties as an officer after a routine bust turns into a bloodbath. Forming a gang of rogue buddies from their days as street punks, Vetter and Hicks decide to risk everything and go above the law to track down the shadowy Diablo.
Director F. Gary Gray (FRIDAY) ensures that Vin Diesel's action-hero rep is cemented in this violent revenge tale. The fast-paced action builds to a visceral, nail-biting crescendo that is sure to appease any fans of Diesel's previous thrill-packed movies, THE FAST AND THE FURIOUS, and XXX. $21.45 Though HARRY POTTER AND THE PRISONER OF AZKABAN director Alfonso Cuaron still holds the crown for best film in the series, David Yates is making an attempt at a coup with HARRY POTTER AND THE HALF-BLOOD PRINCE. Dark, gleefully funny, and beautifully shot, this adaptation of J.K. Rowling’s novel should please fans despite numerous changes to the 650-page source material. In this sixth film in the series, Harry’s (Daniel Radcliffe) inevitable confrontation with the dark wizard Voldemort grows closer, and Hogwarts headmaster Dumbledore (Michael Gambon) wants the young student to be prepared. He guides Harry through a memory of a young Voldemort, but an important moment is missing. Harry must extract this memory from the new Hogwarts teacher, Horace Slughorn (a perfectly slimy Jim Broadbent), who is as eager for fame as he is reluctant to revisit this painful moment. Meanwhile, romance rules the school of witches and wizards, with Hermione (Emma Watson) and Ron (Rupert Grint) refusing to admit their feelings for each other. Harry also harbors ...

$25.55 High school romance is difficult enough to navigate when both people are human. But for 17-year-old Bella Swan (Kristen Stewart, INTO THE WILD) and Edward Cullen (Robert Pattinson, HARRY POTTER AND THE GOBLET OF FIRE), Edward's life as a vampire complicates things even more. At first, when Bella moves from sunny Phoenix to the rainiest corner of Washington State, she isn't sure where she fits in at her new high school. Then she meets Edward, an ethereal beauty of a boy whose unnatural speed and strength lead Bella to the conclusion that her new crush is one of the undead. Suddenly, Bella's boring life is transformed; she's surrounded by love and danger in equal parts, thanks to the hunger of Edward and others of his kind.
TWILIGHT is based on the first book in the addictive series by author Stephenie Meyer. Director Catherine Hardwicke (THIRTEEN) certainly knows her audience, which is primarily the teenage girls who worship the book and its characters. There are plenty of swoonworthy shots of Pattinson's perfectly pale Edward, and his romance with Stewart's nicely acted Bella will cause many a sigh among the devoted fans. While TWILIGHT is primarily a love story in the ROMEO AND JULIET mold, there's also plenty of action and horror to be found. Blood ...
