Before he was incarcerated in 2002 on a drug-related charge, Puerto Rican MC Tempo was one of the primary forces in laying the foundation of reggaeton. 2009's two-CD FREE TEMPO, recorded (as the name would imply) while the rapper still languished in prison, collects many of the major players in Latin hip-hop to back the cult legend on his first record in seven years. The first disc contains new recordings, buoyed by the Fat Joe-boasting title track, while the second disc features a live recording captured behind bars.

As its title suggests, Primavera Anticipada, Laura Pausini's first album of new material in four years, is a new chapter in the Italian singer's storied career.
