Ministry - Adios ... Putas Madres: Ministry's Final World Tour 2008 DVD

 Don't be mislead
The DVD had great quality of course, but I thought my second disc had a documentary and 11 more tracks (the way it is listed on this site). It is actually a list of songs that are played as background music for the documentary, sometimes they talk about that particular song and sometimes there is no mention of it. The documentary is about this last tour ONLY. Being that this is a farewell tour, I just thought footage and info from past albums or a documentary chronicalling their entire career would've been apt.

 not the best ministry set.
their early live vids from "the mind" tour and "flithpig"(spinctour) blow this away. i saw this final tour live and on this dvd but both are weak in my opinion. the worst setlist i've ever seen and i've seen them 5 times. this concert takes place during the day so its all audio and no visuals. also, the 2nd dvd is a useless documentary about nothing it does not have the songs that are listed. i agree a lot with the 1st review. fan since '89 and this is not my ministry.

 Uh, Thats IT?!?! Farewell TOUR??
A ok DVD that would be good for the fans that like the metal years and the past 3 albums. if you do like this DVD checkout their live CD from the same tour but extra trax that didn't make it onto the DVD. overall, i really wouldn't call this a ministry DVD but rather any noisy metal band. still good metal songs but not the real ministry if you've been a long time fan. just a few older songs like NWO, just 1 fiX, thieves, and so what. the vibe on the older songs were more so forced,it seemed like. going through the motions but average versions of the older songs. bad setlist for a farewell tour and huge letdown. once again, they ONLY performed songs from their last 3 albums. sounds like a political statment rather than focusing on their farewell tour. also the DVD is a defect because disc 1 is disc 2. you get it. the 2nd DVD was a useless documentary about nothing. they don't even talk about past albums or any history based on them. be warned about the 2nd DVD because it doesn't contain the songs that are listed on this s1te. i thought those were Xtra trax but the sound track to a useless documentary. the real ministry died after "the darkside of.." album. thats just my opinion but they could of mixed in their older material w/the new and it would have been better.
