| The best Metheny ever !
For me, it the best cd from this artist. The newly masterized version (2007) includes a second cd which includes 5 peices lasting (only) 16 minutes and 38 seconds total ; these were not edited before ; as they are of medium musical quality, you may not consider buying the cd a second time, but if you are sensitive to sound quality, I could say the sound is a little better than the first edition of the cd but the difference won't appear very great for most of us.

| Inspirational
This Pat Metheny album transports me to another place. First bought in early 90s. Wore it out, bought another. Never get tired of it.

Rich, melodious and harmonic musical jazz variations is what Pat Metheny offers in his most recent 2CD album "Secret Story". This album is less abstract than several other previous albums by Metheny.

| Who says perfection can't be improved upon???
I purchased the first, single-disc release of Pat's Secret Story on its release in 1992. It still remains my favorite Metheny work - and the favorite work in my entire exhaustive collection.
