| | Six Piece Suit Come What May CD Six Piece Suit Discography of CDs
Six Piece Suit is based out of Atlanta, Georgia. Our name refers to the Armor of God that Paul talks about in Ephesians 6:13-17. We know that leading others in worship is what God has called us to do with our lives. The Lord has done so much for us that we desire to give Him something back. Unfortunately we don't have much to give, except for our lives. Like John 3:30 says, "He must increase and I (or we) must decrease." Our ministry is only about leading others to know the Lord better as we strive to do the same through the worship in our lives and our music everyday, just as the scripture calls us to. It is not as much about who we are, but rather, Whose we are. Six Piece Suit Come What May Songs | 1. | Come What May |

Come What May album
$9.29 Producer Brown Bannister and A&R director Brent Bourgeois seem to have been going for diversity in putting together a Point Of Grace Christmas album. Among the 17 songs in 14 tracks are traditional carols, popular evergreens, and five new compositions. The older songs are given lush, shimmering arrangements sometimes so different from the familiar versions that they are unidentifiable until after the lyrics have kicked in. The quartet of singers, sometimes augmented by choirs, does vocal acrobatics around the tunes, finding fresh and interesting interpretations. They have more fun with the pop songs, such as a big band swing rendition of "Santa Claus Is Comin' To Town" and a gently rocking "Jingle Bell Rock." The originals contain no new standards, but provide an opportunity for the individual singers to get solo lead vocals. The most surprising of these is Bourgeois's "Light Of The World," on which Michael Tait sings lead, with Point Of Grace providing only backup vocals. Fans ...

Come What May CD music
$11.39 The expanded version of GREATEST HITS includes 5 bonus tracks and is newly remastered.
Sam Cooke's death in 1964 left a huge void in the world of soul music not filled until Al Green's breakthrough in the early '70s. Although many great male soul singers came and went in the years following Cooke's death, none came close to the smooth and creamy style that translated to consistent cross-over success. While Otis Redding was gritty and James Brown relentless, in Green's hands, R&B was sophisticated and suave. GREATEST HITS basks in a style of sultry soul that Green inherited from Cooke.
Yet, Green's style owed as much to producer Willie Mitchell's delicate production as it did to the singer's pure falsetto. While not inclined to use the vast numbers of musicians that Phil Spector did, Mitchell's use of James Mitchell (no relation) and Charles Chalmer's string arrangements, the Memphis Horns and the background vocals of Rhodes, Chalmers and Rhodes gave Green's songs a full sound that wrapped itself around Green's aching emotivity. "Here I Am (Come And Take Me)" features all these elements at play, along with the crack cadence of former MG drummer Al Jackson and brothers Teenie and Charles Hodges, whose respective guitar and organ juice up the rhythm.
Thematically, listening to GREATEST HITS is like thumbing through a primer on the evolution of a relationship, and the ups and downs that come with it. The despair of "Tired Of Being Alone" gives way to a fleeting affair in "Call ...

Come What May album
$6.75 Fifteen years after Amazing Grace, her groundbreaking gospel record, Aretha Franklin returned to the church yet again, and though the results couldn't top the wall-to-wall power and spirit found on her first, the double-album One Lord, One Faith, One Baptism, it's still a worthy document of what the church meant to her. The roster of invited guests was enough to get gospel fans excited, including the Rev. Jesse Jackson, Rev. Jasper Williams, and Rev. C.L. Franklin (her brother, who delivered the invocation), plus Mavis Staples, Joe Ligon (from the Mighty Clouds of Joy), and her sisters, Carol and Erma. Slotted next to sanctified standards like "Surely God Is Able" and "The Lord's Prayer," were several great selections from the pop repertoire, including a scorching version of "Higher Ground." Staples stops by for an ebullient run through the latter-day standard "Oh Happy Day," and the performance closes with a touching finale, "Packing Up, Getting Ready to Go," featuring Staples and Ligon, plus Carol and Erma Franklin. ~ John Bush

Come What May music CDs
$15.49 Just when you thought that garage rock had been done to death without new wrinkles, comes this trio. The sneering singer with a vocal resemblance to the Leaving Trains' Falling James -- who also often intentionally sings out of tune -- is familiar. The punk/ska/funk guitar/bass/drums thing is pretty regular. So who stuck these salsa trumpets in the mix? It's a bit like the old ads for Reese's Peanut Butter Cups: "Hey, you got your Latin in my post-punk!...Umm...Hey...Not bad!" The band's manic, party-on intensity and the super-festive trumpets ...
