David grew up in Austin and Ft Worth, Texas. He had an early interest in music and started playing the violin and piano at a very young age. David started playing the guitar and writing songs in High School and at the same time lay down the violin until he was in college at Baylor University. There he became interested in playing the fiddle. David moved to Nashville in 1985. There he developed his songwriting skills. David plays the guitar, mandolin, dobro, banjo, violin/fiddle, and piano. David has produced 6 music projects. David resides in Nashville.
