As you might expect, Crystal Lake's body count shows a dramatic increase. But is Tommy really the killer? Or is he just on his way to becoming one? Put on your guessing caps. Tommy, the young boy who finally killed hockey-masked murderer Jason Voorhees in Part 5, has grown up and is now spending time in a home for the mentally fragile. Not long after Tommy checks in though, someone starts killing the patients one-by-one. Has Tommy picked up where the legendary serial killer left off or has Jason come back from beyond the grave to kill again? Shot in Metrocolor.
Additional cast: Shavar Ross (Reggie), Dominic Brascia (Joey), Tiffany Helm (Violet), Debbiesue Voorhees (Tina), John Robert Dixon (Eddie), and Ron Sloan (Junior Hubbard). I liked it quite a bit. It takes a very different approach this time. I was able to enjoy this film quite a bit seeing as it wasn't Jason as the killer. I thought of it as Friday the 13th Part 1 all over again except i actually liked it. It had some pretty gruesome killings. I liked it how the writers wanted to do something different and I can understand why it was hated but I think it deserved more credit than it got. It is a very enjoyable film and I recommend it. good old days I remember watching this when it came out and it is still as fun today as it was then. Jason is not the killer in this one but I find that refreshing. Having said that I must also say that all the friday cliches are in tact so it still feels like a classic friday the 13th slasher fest. Kill Me! Oh my god! What the hell is goin' on here. I see all the series and finally I get to the end and I had to sit through uh let me check 92 minutes, god I feel like Al Bundy whenever Peggy's around. Anyone who is a FT13th fan please don't watch this, infact i'm gonna let you in on why this isn't a Ft13th movie, it is a stupid paramedic who finds his son chopped into beach sand, so he goes nuts and murders everyone. Whatever you do don't watch this movie. Submitted by burninhell95 (Sydney, Australia) Was This Review Helpful? Yes No This review is for a different format.

Friday The 13th - Part 5: A New Beginning review
$10.19 The grisly and debauched film PATHOLOGY is a juiced-up medical thriller that plays like FLATLINERS with a mean streak and a broken moral compass. Writers Mark Nelvedine and Brian Taylor have created a premise allowing for CSI-like forensics along with heaps of sex and violence, truly making the most of the film's R-rating. A high-end exploitation film with good performances, PATHOLOGY is strong enough for horror fans and should go down smoothly for non-squeamish viewers with a taste for the dark side.
Gifted med student Ted Grey (Milo Ventimiglia, HEROES) arrives at a major Washington, D.C., as an intern, where he is met with suspicion and resentment by the tightly knit group of fellow young pathologists-in-training. Soon, though, Ted is accepted into their circle---where they each take turns committing a murder so that the others may prove their mettle by figuring out the cause of death and celebrate with drug-fueled orgies among the dead bodies in the hospital. Things change for Ted, though, when his law student fiancée, Gwen (Alyssa Milano), moves to the city and helps to scare him straight. Soon, crazed Wallace Stevens-quoting leader Jake Gallo (Michael Weston) turns on Ted, putting both Ted's ...
