| | Sam Mukoro Greed CD Sam Mukoro Discography of CDs
Sam Mukoro was born in the Delta State of Nigeria where he spent most of his early childhood. His exposure to music was somewhat limited to hearing it play on their neighbor's radio. The family eventually acquired a transistor radio which to him was a great delight. On completing his secondary education, Sam had more latitude to explore his passion for music. How did he do it? He got involved in music business by promoting disco shows and flirting with being a DJ. He was bitten by the music bug much earlier but somehow kept it under wrap because of his pursuit of academics. While at the University of Port Harcourt, he composed the anthem for his Slate (equivalent of Political Party) which eventually won the Students Union elections and he served as Secretary General for the 1981/82 session. With his first Degree in Geography, he proceeded to University of Ibadan where he got a Masters Degree in Urban and Regional Planning. In the late 80s Sam found himself lecturing at Auchi Polytechnic where he reinvigorated the Students Band on campus called PM Jam. He performed at concerts and blended so well with the students that the popularity of the band soared. They became the talk of the town and other campuses around. At his spare time he wrote songs and learned to play the guitar.Over time, Sam moved on to The Federal University of Technology Akure where he put together a Students Band called The Spanners before leaving. The urge to go into music full time was very strong but he kept it at bay. All he ever did with the songs he wrote was entertain friends and family.Sam moved to the United States of America in pursuit of his dreams, though now a city GIS Analyst in Georgia he never departed from his passion for music. He has finally decided to reach out to greater audience because he has a message. He thinks it is a shame that mankind, in spite of all the knowledge acquired and advances made in technology, has focused more on weapons of mass destruction than cultivating love. He strongly feels the needs to contribute his bit by being a Voice for Justice. Sam Mukoro Greed Songs | 1. | Shelenge Baba |

Greed
$11.99 Joao Gilberto is perhaps forever destined to be lesser known to casual jazz fans than his occasional collaborator Stan Getz (whose GETZ/GILBERTO albums introduced the United States to bossa nova) and his ex-wife Astrud Gilberto (whose shy, delicate voice made her one of the most distinctive and beloved jazz vocalists of the '60s). However, true fans of Brazilian music recognize that Gilberto is second only to Antonio Carlos Jobim as a writer and interpreter of traditional Brazilian music and Brazilian-influenced jazz.
These two albums, collected in full on one CD, are among Gilberto's best solo albums. Alternating between standards like "'S Wonderful" or "Besame Mucho" and Brazilian tunes like Jobim's "Wave" and the original "Triste," AMOROSO is a fine, romantic jazz album. BRASIL, as the title suggests, consists of six traditional-style sambas, sung in Portuguese ...
| | Eros Ramazzotti Eros (Italian) CD (1997) Italian
Greed
$9.05 The Italian version of EROS contains 2 songs that do not appear on the Spanish version. It also contains 8 songs that are completely re-recorded.
At the height of his popularity, after establishing a fan base for himself across much of Western Europe as well as parts of the Spanish-language world, Italian singer/songwriter Eros Ramazzotti took some time off during the late '90s and released Eros, a greatest-hits compilation comprised primarily of newly recorded material. The 16-track compilation is comprised of five songs that appear in their original versions, nine that have been newly recorded specifically for this compilation, and two new ones. While the decision to re-record the majority of the inclusions is unusual for a greatest-hits album, Eros ends up being a much more interesting album than it would have been otherwise. The nine songs that are re-recorded are the early hits of Ramazzotti, namely "Terra Promesa" (originally released in 1984), "Una Storia Importante" (1985), "Adesso Tu" (1986), "Ma Che Bello Questo Amore" (1987), "Musica E" (1988), "Se Bastasse una Canzone" (1990), ...
| | Feet Of Flames CD (1999)
Greed
$11.35 Michael Flatley is one of the top dancers and choreographers in modern performing arts. Lord of the Dance rivals Bill Whelan's Riverdance as one of the top dance phenomena of the '90s. Feet of Flames is also an important dance event of that decade. It matches Flatley with Ronan Hardiman again. As an event, it loses much in the translation to CD, but the music is beautiful and diverse. Hardiman covers many different styles and genres, including Celtic, new age, orchestral, contemporary vocal, and atmospheric ambient. It is an entertaining listen but more worthy of a visual experience. The disc will appeal to fans of the aforementioned discs by Flatley & Hardiman and by Whelan. ~ Jim Brenholts

| | Antonio Carlos Jobim Passarim CD (1987)
Greed
$12.35 Passarim is Jobim's major statement of the '80s, emerging during a time when Jobim's concerns were turning increasingly toward Planet Earth issues. The title song is one of Jobim's most haunting creations, a cry of pain about the the destruction of the Brazilian rainforest that resonates in the memory for hours. Also, by this time Jobim had resumed touring with a large group containing friends ...
