GIA Music Group has an industry diamond with their newest urban inspirational & presents it with artist Minister Sammy Young and his group RATED RIGHTEOUS.in their 1st release of Praise In The Tabernacle This singer, songwriter, minister, has been groomed and prepared for the newest move in the kingdom of God. For years Sam has been mentored by the nations most powerful Ministers of Worship such as Min. Michael Washington, Psalmist Desmond Pringle, Mellie Martin, and Brian Martin. He serves as a praise leader, and minister of music leading the congregation in worship at The Holy Tabernacle Deliverance Ministries where John Miller is the Senior Pastor. Sammy Young has his own uniqueness to offer the music industry that cannot be compared to any artists before him. His style is best described as refreshing, innovative, classic, anointed, and powerful. Sammy is the son of a church deacon father and a evangelist mother he makes his home in Greenwood, South Carolina; a musical prodigy as a young child Sam was appointed as director of the youth ensemble at Warren Temple COGIC, the Lord blessed him with the uncanny ability to arrange vocals and vocal orchestrations without any formal training he possessed a natural ear and perfect pitch, and because of this ability the youth ensemble was a gospel phenom and news of their exceptional sound was voiced throughout the region. They were soon asked to perform at the COGIC South Carolina jurisdictions convocation and there amazed the audience with vocal prowess beyond their years, so much so the powers that be a the time were truly blessed and impressed and they asked Sam to serve in the state music department as an assistant director where he was able to work with some of the biggest names in gospel music such as Rev. James Moore, Twinkie Clark, Desmond Pringle, Iris Stevenson, Dorinda Clark-Cole, Mellie Martin, Orlando Draper, Karen Clarke –Sheard, Minister Michael Washington and Roslyn Tompkins-Lynch, and with local artist such as Bonnie Franks and The Nickletown Community Choir, Young People On The Move, Shellea Wade, Brian Martin, The Upstate Fellowship Mass Choir, and Rev.
