While Juicy J can claim to be one of the architects of the dank, dark Memphis hip-hop sound as both producer and MC for the Three 6 Mafia, his solo records are few and far between. With HUSTLE TIL I DIE, in 2009, Juicy broke seven years of solo silence (although, he did, among other things, win an Oscar during that time) with a taut, sober record telling tales of the long hustle. A balanced one-man hip-hop attack, Juicy J brings inventive production, as on the soulful "30 Inches," along with compelling angles on old territory, as on the Fed-challenging "Ghost Dope."

This album is ridicules, each and every song on this cd has the same drum and beat. All the songs almost sound complete the same. This album is plain and boring, waste of time and money. DD

this is a great cd better than his 2002 solo the song I like the most is 30 Inches very good production he went old school Three 6 on some songs I played it in my car without skipping a song a must buy for any Three 6 Fan

Juicy j's music sounds a lot better than DJ Paul.He is very creative when he makes his beats,i give him 2 thumps up on his 2nd solo debut.
