Boy-next-door Kevin hopes to finally lose his virginity to his bubbly girlfriend, Vicky (Tara Reid), while football player Oz begins an unlikely relationship with quiet chorus girl Heather (Mena Suvari). Finch struggles to maintain his cool air of witty detachment, while the neurotic Jim, most famously, has an intimate moment with apple pastry--and, eventually, sexy exchange student Nadia (Shannon Elizabeth). This hysterical yet sensitive movie also features memorable characters such as the ever-wise Jessica (Natasha Lyonne), the imbecilic Stifler (Seann William Scott), the dorky Sherminator (Chris Owen), the flute-playing Michelle (Alyson Hannigan), and Jim's hilariously nerdy dad (Eugene Levy).
In 1999, Eugene Levy also starred in THE SECRET LIFE OF GIRLS, which had a working title of AMERICAN PIE. American Pie Quotes/Excerpts: "This one time, at band camp...."--Michelle (Alyson Hannigan) to Jim (Jason Biggs) American Pie Reviews: "...A prime slice of raunchy fun..."
-- Peter Travers, Rolling Stone "...A high school sex farce that knows exactly how far to push the envelope..."
-- Stephen Holden, New York Times "...As warm and sweet as its title....An unexpected summer date movie..."
-- Annlee Ellingson, Box Office "[I]t's the best teen sex-com since ANIMAL HOUSE, serving up one outrageous set-piece after another..."

American Pie Movie Review It's time to unleash the sherminator!!! Shameless, crude, and just outragous, the best teen comedy i've ever seen.. Submitted by connor allen (doncaster, hatfield) Was This Review Helpful? Yes No This review is for a different format.
the 'stifmeister' is my HERO.. My favorite character in this whole movie would have to be Stifler because in a way he reminded me of a high school friend of mine that passed away the summer before our senior year. When I first seen this movie I laughed til I cried because his disgusting male dominated behavior reminded me of John. And it kinda reminded me of the antics I once pulled once upon time when I was that young. If you haven't seen this movie this is a MUST-SEE for anyone entering their teen-age years!!! | | Three Stooges Collection - Vol. 3: 1940-1942 DVDs (1940)
American Pie review
$21.29 The collection highlights the very best short films from the Three Stooges from 1940 to 1942, a key period in Stooge history. Among the 23 films to be found here is "A Plumbing We Will Go," an inarguable fan favorite, perhaps even the most beloved Stooges short of them all. In it, the boys can't resist pushing their luck and going fishing in a pet store fish tank just moments after they were acquitted of their chicken theft charges. But just when it seems they're in it again, Moe, Larry, and Curly use a magic disappearing act to land in the back of plumbing truck, which takes them to a home in need of repair. Of course, there are no better men for the job than the Three Stooges. Also included in this collection are "Nutty but Nice," Three Smart Saps," "All the World's a Stooge," and many more.

| | Secondhand Lions DVD (2003) Full Frame; Widescreen; Subtitled
American Pie DVD
$7.95 Set in Texas in the 1950s, SECONDHAND LIONS tells the touching story of Walter (Haley Joel Osment), a shy teenager sent to stay with two estranged uncles for the summer. Various rumors surround the two uncles (played by Robert Duvall and Michael Caine), mostly because the duo have only recently resurfaced into family life after 40 years spent carrying out misdeeds and illicit activities. The one fact about the men, of which Walter's mom is only too aware, is that they appear to be extremely wealthy, having stashed over one million dollars in cash at an undisclosed location. After initially balking at Walter's inherent shyness and nervous disposition, the two men soon warm to the child, and proceed to tell him some incredible tales of their adventures.
Director Tim McCanlies lets SECONDHAND LIONS unfold at a leisurely pace, allowing Caine and Duvall to play off each other and slowly bring Osment's character out of his shell. As all the characters become invigorated by the stories and tall tales, a neat bond is formed between them, with some touching interplay and valuable lessons in life for Osment. This is a moving coming-of-age film that the whole family can enjoy.
