I have now purchased both seasons of Will Sonnett. Walter Brennan & Dack Rambo are superb in their respective roles. This is a must for all western fans.

Good Cd Universe price on this Timless
product...Walter Brennan was getting up there in age,,,but pulls off the story of a Grandfather who is just as fast on the draw as his gunfighter son...
Strange family, the Sonnets, but a family nontheless...good acting by a
passel of guest stars...but Brennan always manage to hog the scene as befitting his two academy awards...
Like the other first season..prints are cut..but uncut ones are nowhere to be found anywhere..a good buy...

Obscure Gem
Walter Brennan was one of the great Stars of early TV. After a much awarded movie career Brennan enjoyed major success on TV with "The Real McCoys", "Tycoon" and "The Guns Of Will Sonnett". The "Sonnett" series was built on a 'The Fugitive", "Run For Your Life" premise. The search each week was a lot of fun. Enjoy a real pro at work.

George Stevens' classic Western, adaptated from the Jack Schaefer novel, stars Alan Ladd in the title role. Riding the ranges of Wyoming's Grand Tetons, Shane stops at the farm of homesteader Joe Starrett (Van Heflin) just before Ryker (Emile Meyer), a powerful and predatory cattleman, arrives with his hired muscle to make the farmer a threatening offer for land that he intends to get by any means necessary.
