| | Under Aspect Became Mechanical CD (2008)
Rollin' With Tha Mutha songs
$11.39 Under Aspect, a sound tainted with heavy riffs and addictive melodies, invites new-metal fans to see a whole new universe of hard pounding music. Inspired by bands such as Deftones, Sevendust, Tool, Portishead, Chevelle, Korn and Killswitch Engage, the five piece band quickly cooked the right recipe to get a warm place among the enormous Montreal music scene. With over 50 scenic apparitions for their first year playing together, they earned the price for the band with the most impressive performances in the 2006-2007 MAD production’s tour presented by Musique Plus. This mention gave them a chance to show a big audience what they could do on the Club Soda’s Stage by performing their piece of resistance Click! Bang! & Goodbye. This very same piece opens with energy their new album «Became Mechanical». This first opus was entirely produced by the five members who felt the need to evolve freely in their art. The finished, yet not mastered project, was put in the hands of Jeff Fortin, guitarist for Anonymus (Galy Records) who added the professional spice in Hugues Bouchard’s work, young drummer of the formation (Rec productions). The chemistry that unites the five protagonists offers a totally new aspect of what a show signifies to some people. The interaction with the crowd seems to be right formula which the band adopted throughout Quebec. With the experience acquired, they were ready to entertain fans of Anonymus, Vulgaires Machins, Alcoholica, GFK, and more.Built from 13 somewhat ...

| | Invictus Persecution CD (2009) (Import)
Rollin' With Tha Mutha songs
$19.99 Michael Fitrzyk – Guitars / Ferderic Glo – Lead Vocals / Raphael Leger – Drums / Nicolas Acard – Bass In the mid-eighties, bands like Sortilège, Blasphème and Nightmare released true masterpieces of melodic metal and stormed the charts with them, be it in their native country France or in far away Japan. It is no coincidence that INVICTUS came from exactly the same region in northern France: Four dedicated musicians have lined up to revive these great moments of French stainless steel. In 1996, guitar player Mikael Fitrzyk formed INVICTUS (then, under the name QUARK7), soon after he gathered other musicians around him. Even the first musical pieces, still influenced by Yngwie Malmsteen, UFO and Savatage, impressed fans with their elegant and original mixture of Progressive, Symphonic and Melodic Metal music. The music and the band carried a fair amount of aggression, everybody could witness that at the first INVICTUS live gigs, where fists flew regularly, the result of that in many places, they weren´t allowed to play. But, hey, that´s Rock´n´Roll...!After some line-up changes, QUARK7 produced their first album "Fly Away" which didn´t get the attention it would have deserved. In 1999, they released "Once Upon A Time" under the name of “Invictus”, again self-produced, and finally, this, together with a remarkable, multilingual website (12 languages!) aroused massive interest of some underground labels. Outstanding reviews from all kinds of magazines from Norway, Japan, England, Germany, Sweden and Brazil finally lead to a distribution ...
