Like many recent high-school graduates, Enoch Cass’s (Luke Grimes) life is filled with choices. The teen is a baseball phenom, but his chances at a college education are undermined by his severe stutter. Enoch is also burdened by his small town’s trouble, and he wonders if staying will be the answer to everyone’s problems. Meanwhile, Enoch’s best friend, Wheels (Dan McCabe), has his own trials: in a wheelchair since a young age, Wheels tries to overcome the hardships that arrive as a result of his cerebral palsy. They have been inseparable, but is now the time for them to take different paths? Based on a true story, WAR EAGLE, ARKANSAS also stars Brian Dennehy, James McDaniel, Mary Kay Place, and Mare Winningham.

It is the late 1950s, but it might as well be the late 1850s in a small French town where everyone behaves as they should (supposedly), and attends church regularly. When a strong North wind blows through town, it brings the vivacious and mysterious Vianne (Juliette Binoche) and her young daughter Anouk (Victoire Thivisol).
