Recognized as one of Young's (and hence one of rock & roll's) finest albums, HARVEST put the singer on the mainstream map with the mega-hit "Heart of Gold," which defined a soft folk-rock style frequently revisited by lesser artists throughout the 1970s. I remember when this album came out early in Young's solo career, after CSN&Y. It has never faded. It's now part of my Young Collection.

One of his most popular albums ever...
"Harvest" is a wonderful album containing some wonderful songs. The songs I like on this title are: Out on the Weekend, the title track (Harvest), Heart of Gold, Old Man, and perhaps one or two others.
