Additional Footage; Soundtrack English; Soundtrack French; Soundtrack Spanish; English Subtitles; Director's Comments Jon "Mox" Moxon (James Van Der Beek, TV's DAWSON'S CREEK) is the second string quarterback of the Coyotes of West Canaan, Texas. When the star quarterback (Paul Walker) suffers a knee injury just as the team is about to win their 23rd championship in 30 years, Mox is in the hot seat. Mox, however, is more interested in getting accepted to Brown, a view which is at odds with that of the pigskin-crazy town as well as that of militaristic Coach Kilmer (Jon Voight). But when Mox becomes a town hero for his football prowess, will his sights be swayed from his academic pursuits? This surprise hit from MTV Pictures was directed by Brian Robbins (HARDBALL). Varsity Blues film
$8.49 As he eases into teenhood, Aaron Carter, younger brother of Backstreet Boy Nick, continues to spin out one slice of hook-filled teenpop after another. As on his previous efforts, Carter splits his time between rapping, R&B crooning, and jubilant pop singing. Though pulling a Willie/Julio on "To All the Girls" might seem a bit premature for a 14-year-old, he IS a pop hearthrob, and the girls in question are probably no older than the singer. The opening title track finds Carter in full-on hip-hop mode, while "Keep Believing" is a heart-on-sleeve romantic R&B-laced ballad filling much the same function as "I'm All About You" did on the previous year's OH AARON. True, he doesn't deviate much from his pre-established template, but do you really think Aaron's devoted, predominantly female fans would want him to?
Personnel includes: Aaron Carter, The Baja Men.
Producers include: Lucas & Mickey P, Dreamscape, Shep & Kenny, Riprock 'N' Alex G.
| | Cutting Edge - Chasing The Dream DVD (2008) Widescreen; Subtitled
Varsity Blues review
$9.69 The third chapter in the CUTTING EDGE saga, this installment follows a similar storyline to the 1992 classic, but this time around, things are reversed. When male ice skater Zack (Matt Lanter) needs a female partner after his ex-girlfriend breaks her leg, he looks to girl hockey star Alejandra (Francia Raisa), and raises some eyebrows in the process. While audiences will get a kick out of this switch, Zack's coaches disapprove, which puts the skater in a difficult position.
When a championship figure skater's partner is injured, he teams up with a female ex-hockey player and falls for her in the process.

Varsity Blues DVD
$10.45 One of the most consistent and reassuring presences on the country charts since his mid-1980s breakthrough, George Strait makes a characteristically low-key contribution to the holiday album with the excellent CLASSIC CHRISTMAS. As the title suggests, this set consists solely of traditional Christmas favorites, ranging from the hymnal "We Three Kings" and "Silent Night" to more playful tunes like "Jingle Bells" and "Up on the Housetop." The songs are performed in Strait's familiar neo-traditional country style, making CLASSIC CHRISTMAS a guaranteed winner for fans.
