With its swirling keyboards and falsetto vocals, "Magic" became one of the great one-shots of the '70s, and it shouldn't come as a surprise to anyone familiar with one-hit wonders that Pilot's accompanying full-length isn't as good. Great Band...underated to the end.
Hey... these guys were great. I got this album not expecting much. I was familiar with the songs Magic and January.

wonderful!
It`s wonderful CD - I remeber this from old vinyl and it`s still marvelous! I listen this CD very often. It remains me my young schoolyears.

From Great Beginnings Come Great Endings...
The greatest tragedy about the short life of the group Pilot is that even with their infectiously hooky brand of pop rock gems, they were always destined to be overshadowed by the man who produced and engineered these little bits of Seventies "Magic." Perhaps you've heard of the chap? Alan Parsons? In any case, it wasn't all gloom-and-doom.

Slight pomp comeback
This is the kind of music the "punk revolution" had set out to vanquish in the late 70s. Not the worsy pomp rock album out though!!!
