| Not their best, but great none the less.
I can't believe how much people bash this album. Blind Guardian has never released a bad album and never will, in my opinion this is among their best. "this sucks, it doesn't talk about lord of the rings!"- who cares, you nerd? What makes Blind Guardian great is their amazingly intricate solos and overall impressive musicianship. And the subject matter of the lyrics don't really matter, Hansi could sing about a dog turd and make it sound good. So actually give this a couple good listens before you bash it, anyone interested in buying this don't listen to these 'tards.

Their first album is very good and with that album they have bright future.They dont have good lyrics,and lyrics dont have simmilar themes with Lord of the rings or Tolkien.Good songs are:"Banish from the Sanctury",Follow the blind" and "Hall of the king".You can also see and hear the special guest,Kai from Halloween. This album is average,but you must hear Imaginations from the other side,Tales from the twilight world,A night at the opera and ofcorse Nightfall in middle earth

"Follow the Blind" is their second album,and the worst."Banish from the Sanctuary"talks about Johan the Baptist,about his relationship with god and Jesus.Sorry,but that doesnt have any connection with Tolkien."damned for all time" is inspired by 'Eternal Champion' of Michael Murkok."Follow the Blind" is about 'Talisman'Stephen King's book....
