In the year 2000 he moved to Amsterdam, the Netherlands and started from scratch again. A few years later, he recorded his first record, Above the Roofs, which was released internationally and received great reviews in the European Press. True to his Balkan roots his music is inspired by the traditional and gypsy music from ex-Yugoslavia but at the same time especially due to the influence of the many musicians from all over the world, which he met in Amsterdam and often played all through the years his music is able to communicate with many different styles.
