Dylan Owen is a 17-year-old independent hip-hop artist based out of Goshen, NY. He began freestyling and battling in the 8th grade, and started writing material the following fall when one of his bands played and won a Battle of the Bands competition. Subsequently, Dylan began composing his own solo work, which he recorded with Devin Arne, and writing with his new band "Tomas Smith and the Sundance Kids." While building his identity within the local hip-hop scene, his track record includes various poetry publications, numerous demo tapes, his debut "A Living Inverse EP," which is available on both iTunes and CdBaby, and the follow-up and current “How To Stay Young EP.” While his first EP reflects a troubled, abstracted view on life, the “How To Stay Young EP” is a more optimistic and hopeful record, and has garnered much more public attention. Currently, Dylan Owen is playing shows with live DJ Adam Boese, who also designed the album artwork and the EP’s lyric booklets. How To Stay Young EP album
$10.59 Black Eyed Peas, the hip-hop crossover juggernaut that propelled singer Fergie and producer Will.I.Am to superstardom, have, since 2003's ELEPHUNK, been audaciously plugging away at their bombastic but lighthearted style of rap-cum-dance pop--an effort that has translated to a run of successful chart-topping singles including "My Humps," "Pump It," and "Don't Phunk with My Heart." Eager to follow up on the platinum-selling success of 2005's MONKEY BUSINESS, Black Eyed Peas have returned with THE E.N.D. (an acronym for "Energy Never Dies"), their third studio effort. Combining Will.I.Am's ...
| | Throwdown Deathless CD (2009)
How To Stay Young EP CD music
$12.99 Throwdown have had to eat a lot of crap in recent years because their vocalist, Dave Peters, is doing such a blatant, idolatrous imitation of Pantera/Down vocalist Phil Anselmo. It doesn't help that with 2005's Vendetta they shifted from the thick-necked, straight-edge hardcore of their early catalog to a version of the "groove metal" practiced by Pantera, Trivium, and other modern metal bands. On this latest album, though, Peters occasionally shifts from imitating Anselmo to imitating Anselmo-imitating- Mudvayne's Chad Gray. The music, too, has a lot of Mudvayne's combination of groove and progressive epic-ness, coupled with Pantera's ultra-punishing, almost industrial riffs. So it seems like Throwdown are attempting to make some ...
| | Very Best Of Otis Redding CD (1992)
How To Stay Young EP music CDs
$7.79 It is impossible to overrate Otis Redding. This Rhino compilation, while in no way comprehensive, is nonetheless an outstanding sampler of songs by one of soul music's all-time titans. There's not a dud among these 16 songs, and some, like "These Arms Of Mine," "(Sittin' On) The Dock Of The Bay," and "Try ...

How To Stay Young EP songs
$12.79 Nellie is the new “Queen Of Soul/Blues”. Her previous CD, “I’m A Woman”, was a major success and this new 12 song set will take her to the next level. Already, her song “Queen Of The Blues”, dedicated to late Koko Taylor, is making waves in Chicago and throughout the South…but that’s just an appetizer. This new CD serves up all ...
| | Aretha Franklin 30 Greatest Hits CDs (1985)
How To Stay Young EP album
$11.15 The title may not be 100-percent accurate, since the songs here are culled from Franklin's soul years, roughly between 1967 and 1974, and she's had lots more hits since then. That nit picked, however, this is a genuine embarrassment of riches, with Aretha's soaring voice and under-appreciated piano decorating one wonderful genre-defining song ("Respect," "Chain of Fools," "Natural Woman," "Since You've Been Gone") after another. The most revelatory cut is probably "I Say a Little Prayer," in which Franklin imbues the song with a spine-tingling gospel flavor without ever losing the pop delicacy of the original Dionne Warwick version. But just about everything else here is essential listening.
This compilation spans the late-'60s to the mid-'70s. Aretha's impassioned voice soars with unbridled spirit through each classic performance. This release opens with "Baby I Love You," an R&B hit from the summer of 1967. From 1972's Grammy-winning ...
