Worm found solace in the art at a young age, and has been writing his own music since 2004. While recording in the studio with a friend, he had been referred to as a 'silly worm.

' Thinking that the industry would never take 'silly worm' seriously he decided to stick with 'Worm' and since then has been his stage name. A mere walk in the streets of Houston, TX opened unfamiliar doors for Worm, and so was the beginning of something great. Deafening music flooding the streets from a garage instantly grabbed Worm's attention . Curious as to what the music was for, Worm approached the garage where the music was coming from, and soon realized it was a beat in the making. Fascinated by something new to him, Worm stayed and learned a thing or two. So intrigued by making beats, he downloaded the program for himself. Writing his own music turned into making his own beats then soon learning how to edit and produce his own music. Recording to Instrumentals was not a factor for this talented young artist, after he had learned how to make his own unique beats.

''Worm'' was in 2 groups before he knew that becoming a solo artist was his destined path. He is Inspired by individual artists/groups such as 'Do or Die,' for their unique flow, and catchy beats.
