A Timeless Classic For Everyone This truly is the best Christmas comedy ever created. Clark (Chevy Chase) is at his prime in 'Christmas Vacation,' the his whole family contributes to a plot that never dissapoints. Truly, one of the funniest movies I have ever seen, and the best Christmas movie, by far, that I have ever seen. Submitted by Pete (Saddle River, NJ) Was This Review Helpful? National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation review
$7.95 Set in Texas in the 1950s, SECONDHAND LIONS tells the touching story of Walter (Haley Joel Osment), a shy teenager sent to stay with two estranged uncles for the summer. Various rumors surround the two uncles (played by Robert Duvall and Michael Caine), mostly because the duo have only recently resurfaced into family life after 40 years spent carrying out misdeeds and illicit activities. The one fact about the men, of which Walter's mom is only too aware, is that they appear to be extremely wealthy, having stashed over one million dollars in cash at an undisclosed location. After initially balking ...

National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation video
$11.35 Comedian and ventriloquist Jeff Dunham hits the stage with hilarious new pals Achmed the Dead Terrorist and Melvin the Super hero, as well as old favorites Peanut, Walter, and Jose Jalapeno, in this sidesplitting performance at Washington D.C.'s Warner Theater.
More than just a stand-up comic, Jeff Dunham is a one-man comedy troupe--a ring-leader in a circus of snark. The veteran ventriloquist may be the only one with vocal chords, but he’s often the least vocal, playing straight man to a steam trunk of personalities: Achmed the Dead Terrorist, a goofball skeleton still fighting the infidels; Peanut, an odd purple creature with a fast mouth; Jose Jalapeño, a smooth-talking pepper on a stick; Bubba J, NASCAR’s biggest fan; and Walter, a dirty old man who speaks his mind. Together with his hilarious and irreverent puppets, Dunham riffs on everything from politics to family life, and slays the audience with his quick-witted ...

| | Adventures Of Baron Munchausen Blu-ray (1988) Widescreen; Anniversary Edition; Dubbed; Subtitled
National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation review
$23.29 In TIME BANDITS, director Terry Gilliam told a fantastical story filled with heroes and villains seen through the eyes of a small boy. In BRAZIL, Gilliam focused on a fantasy world created by a young man trapped in a totalitarian state. And now, with THE ADVENTURES OF BARON MUNCHAUSEN, Gilliam tells the legend of an old man who has lived a fairy-tale life. In the late 18th century, the Age of Reason has no room for fantasy. In a town besieged by murderous enemies, a traveling company is putting on a stage show about the apocryphal Baron Munchausen, who, with his motley crew of servants, supposedly circled the globe and the universe, following each bizarre adventure with one even more strange and ludicrous. But then a man appears at the theater claiming to be the real Baron, and to prove it, he goes off on one final journey to save the town, chased all along the way by the winged specter of death.
Gilliam never met an epic spectacle he didn't like. MUNCHAUSEN is loaded with brilliant set pieces, including spinning heads on the moon and a giant Botticelli clamshell in the bottom of a hellish volcano. Gilliam has assembled a stellar cast, including John Neville as the Baron, Oliver Reed as Vulcan, Jonathan Pryce (BRAZIL), Jack Purvis (Wally in ...

National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation movie DVD
$30.69 Brazilian director Fernando Meirelles, whose previous film, CITY OF GOD, won awards all over the world--and was nominated for Best Foreign Language Film at the 2004 Oscars--has crafted another highly entertaining yet important film. Beautifully shot in Kenya, Germany, Sudan, Manitoba, and London, THE CONSTANT GARDENER, based on a bestselling novel by John Le Carré, is an exciting mix of romance and spy thriller. Ralph Fiennes stars as Justin Quayle, a low-level British diplomat who has always gone about his work very quietly, not causing any problems. But after his radical wife, Tessa (Rachel Weisz), is killed, he becomes determined to find out why, thrusting himself into the middle of a very dangerous conspiracy. Jeffrey Caine's powerful screenplay alternates between ...

| | Eternal Sunshine Of The Spotless Mind Blu-ray (2004) Widescreen; Dubbed
National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation film
$25.15 ETERNAL SUNSHINE OF THE SPOTLESS MIND is an unconventional romance told in the abstract, inventive, and comedic storytelling style of screenwriter Charlie Kaufman. Like his scripts for ADAPTATION and BEING JOHN MALKOVICH, this plot works off of a relatively complex idea that is more easily explained through the language of film than through words. In its most basic description, Joel (Jim Carrey) is undergoing a medical procedure to erase the memory of his ex-girlfriend, Clementine (Kate Winslet). However, while he is unconscious and the procedure is underway, he takes a journey through his mind, reliving moments with Clementine for fear of losing her forever. Using disjointed sound and action, foggy periods indicating Joel's confusion, and flashbacks to childhood where objects appear much bigger than they are to adult eyes, ...
