(1 Customer Review)
Trick Daddy built a slow rep as one of hip-hop's premier thug wordsmiths, first in his local Miami scene then (super-gradually) nationally. By 2009's FINALLY FAMOUS, the thirty-something Daddy was both wide veteran and a name, but still as connected to the streets as in his hustling days of the mid-`90s. He still winds lyrics around hypnotic super-Southern beats at a ferocious pace, rapping about corner stores, fiends, section 8, and his heroes with a bizarre blend of dead seriousness and sly humor.

Finally Famous: Born A Thug, Still A Thug album
$10.65 (MP3 Available for Download) STRAIGHT OUTTA CASHVILLE lives up to the N.W.A. reference in its title. Like N.W.A., Buck delivers lyrical blows--sudden, blunt, and ruthless--without forgetting the importance of a powerful hook to seduce the listener into his murky world, particularly on the hit single "Let Me In." As with fellow G-Unit member 50 Cent, Young Buck lived the life he relates. His life pours out gloriously and without ...

Vocal gymnastics and Christmas songs are not often thought of as a compatible combination, but on MERRY CHRISTMAS Mariah jumps, climbs, crawls, twirls and dashes her way through both traditional fare and original Christmas songs.
She shifts through styles, offering fans from all musical camps a gift of their own. ...

Finally Famous: Born A Thug, Still A Thug album
$11.49 Ronin is a child of God born in Paramaribo, Suriname on Feb. 9, 1980. Complications from the womb, helped to create what would be a fighter’s spirit within him. He was not raised in the church, but was thought bible lessons by his grandmother, and these lessons would prove to be the foundation for a ministry he would pick up as an adult. In 1988 at the tender age of 8, Ronin migrated to the United Stated with his father. This began a tumultuous road to adolescence. Ronin did not fit in with others his age due to what was named an “old spirit.” His life at home could be described as dysfunctional at best. His father, a since reformed alcoholic, and mother were involved in an abusive relationship that would last until the age of 12. In his teen years, Ronin began to study different religions and philosophies. Looking for something to believe in, like his father before him, he experimented with alcohol. After watching many of his closest peers ruin their lives due to an alcohol addiction, however, it lost its hold on him. After a lifetime of prophecies declaring alcoholism and abuse would cloud his future, he was asked to humble himself and submit to a higher power. At the age of 21, after 3 years of wrestling with his faith, rap music became ...
