Shepp DawgSHEPP DAWG, a name all St. Lucians know; a name that spells out "Yes Garcon"; a hit song that took the country by storm. This flamboyant, young artiste has many stories to tell, but his music and versatility of his vocal skills has created an image that lives in the minds and hearts of many St. Lucians. Hit song after hit song created a permanent name for Shepp as everyone looked at him as being the “Yes Garcon” guy. No other St. Lucian was ever able, in such a short period of time, to climb the ladder of success with such a hit song. To add ingenuity to his lyrical mastery, this young wonder joined with St. Lucian cartoonist/designer/animator, Ted Sandiford, to create the first ever cartoon video for “Yes Garcon”. This video captured children and adults alike. However, that was not all.It is unquestionable that Shepp Dawg is the most versatile artist on the island of St. Lucia today. In addition to the smashing hit Yes Garcon, he added many other regional and international dancehall and soca hits to his repertoire such as “REPRESENT”, “FINI WOM” and “LUCIANS & TING”. He is extraordinarily skilled in many musical genres including Hip-Hop and Soca, but his heart belongs to Dancehall music.
