Getting right back to where they started from, Creed reunites for Full Circle, putting all tensions to rest and cutting their first album in eight years. FULL CIRCLE is a none-too-subtle allusion to how they're getting back to their beginnings, but a cynic could say they never got much past it, toiling the same weathered ground on each of their albums, but this bears some subtle differences, particularly in how Creed sounds heavier yet more open than they did in the past. While they're still delivered with the finesse of a hammer on a railroad spike, there's more air within the ballads, more skill in their attack, a looseness to their playing that allows them to take a stab at white-boy blues on the title track. "Full Circle" is one of several songs built on prominent acoustic guitar, an indication of the greater color palette here than on, say, HUMAN CLAY, and that lack of reliance on thudding guitars does make FULL CIRCLE less wearying than earlier Creed, but don't mistake this for subtlety: ambiguity is not Creed's friend; they still italicize, bold, and underscore every emotion.Entertainment Weekly - "[I]t's heavier than the radio riffs of Creed's early days." -- Grade: B Full Circle Music Review Average Rating: (4.8 out of 5 stars)  Best Yet!
Awesome!!!! Awesome Lyrics, Great Guitar riffs & Solos, Great Drumming from Mr. Phillips, Scott's vocals still not as good as Myles (Alterbridge) But thats good....this is Creed. Amazing production, love every track!!

Nice new album from creed. I thought they would never get back together. But still a lot of alter bridge music influences here combined with scott stapps unique vocals makes a great combonation. Highly recommend

Creed's reuniting was only a matter of time, nd for all of us who grew up rocking out to Creed were always hoping for this album. The long wait was well worth it, as this CD embodies the pure raw sound that brought Creed together many years ago and the sound that continues to be the staple for rock fans all around the world. This album displays the maturity that has become this group. It is Creed's heaviest CD to date, but definitly does not leave the melody that made Creed who they are today. All around winner for Creed and all the fans!! Good work guys! Definite buy!

This album is great! Im glad that creed got back together. But anyway, this is a nice collection of songs. A lot of Alter Bridge influences here. If you are a long time Creed fan then you will like this CD, if you never like creed, but you liked alter bridge then will like this CD. Highly Recommend

In true old-school "supergroup" fashion, Chickenfoot is a hard-rock dream team. Composed of vocalist Sammy Hagar (Montrose, Van Halen), bassist Michael Anthony (Van Halen), drummer Chad Smith (Red Hot Chili Peppers), and guitar virtuoso Joe Satriani, the combo grew out of a few impromptu jams, but the combination was judged strong enough to record an album and go on tour. The resulting disc is a full-throttle, unapologetic rock record, brimming with the same party attitude and sense of fun that made Van Halen so legendary. When Layne Staley died from a drug overdose in 2002, it had already been several years since most Alice in Chains fans stopped hoping for a new album. The singer had become a recluse since the late-`90s, and there was little indication that AIC would ever again produce much in the way of new music. As a result, when the remaining members reunited to release BLACK GIVES WAY TO BLUE in 2009, expectations were low. To the delight of all however, the album proved to be perhaps the Seattle combo's most energetic and consistent effort since its masterpiece DIRT. Perhaps the most surprising element of the new record was how much it sounded exactly like Alice in Chains. While new singer William DuVall was not an exact Staley soundalike, he managed to evoke both the unique timbre and sense of deep angst that were the late vocalist's trademarks. Throughout, the sound is heavier and sturdier than ever before, with songs like the first single "A Looking In View" and "Check My Brain" borrowing a bit from the nu-metal bands Alice in Chains inspired, and beating the upstarts at their own game.
