| best budget intro
Though it is truly impossible to edit Dylan's career highlights down to 2.5 hours (and this collection doesn't come close to doing that, especially with some of the random selections on disc 2), the sound quality is substantially better than the originally issued CDs. Now Sony needs to get around to reissuing Dylan's entire discography as they have for some of his progeny (e. g., Byrds & Simon & Garfunkel, but unfortunately, not Springsteen).

| Essential Bob Dylan (2000)
Great CD with the big songs but missing a few good ones. I think this should be more like 16 or 17 dollars. Its a bit over- priced. Its a lot cheaper at the store.
